I am a local DJ based in the WF4 area, I provide quality mobile discos, from Wedding Receptions, to school discos.

I do parties and events for all ages and occasions. I have an ever expanding set up with modern, high quality light and sound systems. I have full PLI cover, and my equipment is annually safety tested so don't hesitate when booking. I cover most of West Yorkshire and into Barnsley and Wakefield.

Here's a shot from yesterday's VE day celebrations. It was nice to blow the dust off some of my lighting.

Of course I'm very much missing working and providing you with entertainment.

Last week I returned home from a great family UV party night with a full diary of bookings. Last night I came home from Nichola and Sean's wedding, where we gave it our best shot at keeping the party spirit flowing, and having a good knees up.

The realisation that last night will be my last booking, doing something I love, for at least 2 months is obviously very upsetting. As a self employed worker these next few months will of course be tough, but safety comes first.

Thank you to everyone for your continued support, it means a lot. I can still be contacted through the usual channels, and can't wait to be providing your entertainment when we come out the other side.

New year, new me...

As of 2020 DJFEARNTREE is rebranding to JF Event Services.

Since setting up 7 years ago, the company name came with a school nickname which stuck.

As of this year I will be offering more of a focus towards weddings and corporate events after taking a new semi permanent role at a high end venue.

I will still be offering the same variety of services including my high energy children's parties and school discos.

This rebranding has been a long time coming and this year felt like the right time.

I will still be reachable via my old email and this page will be changing names but will be in the same place.

I have a new mailbox at [email protected]

I hope everyone has had a fantastic Christmas!

My last gig of the year was a special one for a close family wedding at the fabulous Oulton Hall. I provided uplighting and AV hire and managed to create a great party atmosphere while dancing most of the night myself!

I'd like to wish everyone a very Happy new year for when we welcome in 2020!

School's out for summer!

Last night saw my 4th and final school disco of this academic year, with 3 schools already booking me in for Halloween/ christmas!

I've had 4 school discos and a staff leaving do within 5 days, so hopefully I've got top marks.

After a 2 month break to allow me to focus on my postgraduate study I am now back in action. This weekend saw me dive right in with a prom on Friday night at 315, and yesterday celebrating Katie and Lucy's 5th birthday.

Yesterday I had lots of fun djing at Eve and Fraser's joint birthday party at Denby Dale Pie Hall. It was also the first gig without my faithful old disco van. After 3 and a half years of loyal service I've decided to buy a real car due to scaling back operations.
