1. Cyprus is home to the world’s oldest known wine label, *Commandaria*, which dates back to around 2000 BC and is still produced today.

2. The island is famous for being the legendary birthplace of the Greek goddess of love and beauty, Aphrodite, with Petra tou Romiou being her mythological birthplace.

3. Cyprus has been inhabited for over 10,000 years, making it one of the oldest continuously inhabited places in the world.

I have made some more home made hallumi, and I've also expanded my garden area and have a lot more veggies available, eveything is naturally grown 😋

Cyprus Flavours

The creator of Cyprus flavours is Niki a young lady who was born in Famagusta in Cyprus where she was taught home-cooked traditional Greek Food using homegrown ingredients by her mother and grandmother. Niki moved to London in 1974 and later moved to Norfolk into 2012. Here in Necton she grows her own organic herbs, vegetables and vine leaves which she uses in her dishes. Her free range chickens run freely around her 4 acre garden and provide freshly laid eggs for Niki’s homemade dishes. With her Five Star Food Hygiene Certificate from Breckland Council her food preparation is thorough and of a high standard that any chef would be proud of.

Niki has over five years of catering and hospitality experience from restaurants in London and Jersey.

Niki takes great pride in her craft and offers homemade Greek food for events, catering, buffets, birthday parties and other special events.
