It’s us!

With excitement we announce we are taking the reign at Poet’s Corner in Alloway.

We are keen to make sure our existing Backstreet Kitchen customers know our Whitletts shop and all our supplying stores will remain unchanged. We have grown a loyal customer base and everything we already do will remain the same!

In Alloway this little place is truly a gem. A place locals have loved to visit for their breakfasts, lunches and coffees for years. Did I mention the home baking?👌The team Marna has grown just love their customers, and customers love them back, and we are privileged to now get to be a part of this ❤️

At Poets Corner we are keen to keep everything business as usual. We want to settle in and see everything that is amazing about the place so we keep everything you love. In time The Backstreet Kitchen team will add some of our own food and some new ideas, so be patient and I’m sure this will be fantastic 🙌

Happy New Year, to all our amazing customers. Thank you so much for the support and friendship over the years. We love being part of the Alloway village community but we wouldn’t be here without you and for that we are so grateful. We are having one more day of rest and relaxation after a really busy December😅😅Then we’ll be open as usual from Thursday 4th January. There’s a ten day sale on what’s left of our Christmas ranges. There’s not a lot so if you want to steal a march on Christmas 2024, be quick! Then we’ll be welcoming spring with open arms. Have a peaceful and healthy year 🥰🥰

Hello lovely clients - it’s been an incredibly busy week and we’re still making up flower orders! Sadly, we’ve had to turn off the phones and the website and just get orders fulfilled. There will be some fresh flowers in the shop tomorrow but when they are gone, they’re gone! Lots of gorgeous gifts, still, so we won’t see you stuck.
