Our Story

Hello and welcome to Wigwams and Wishes! I’m Laura, mum of two kids who have always loved hosting sleepovers! I initially saw the concept of indoor sleepover parties overseas, and was inspired! I loved that a simple sleepover could be transformed into a magical and memorable experience, perfect for a special celebration. I knew my kids would love this, and was sure other children would too. After lots of consideration and planning this eventually led to the creation of Wigwams and Wishes in April 2017, and we are proud to have rolled our new and exciting service out to families in the Edinburgh and Lothians area.

My wish is to provide a premium quality, unique service which is extra-special for kids, and as hassle free as possible for parents. We deliver and assemble everything needed for a dream sleepover in the safety of your home. All you have to do is open the door and let the magic happen! We return the following day to pack up, leaving you with lots of happy memories (and no laundry!).

The safety of your little party goers is our top priority. We are fully insured. The frames we have chosen to use carry the CE conformity marking and meet safety, health and environmental protection requirements. Our camps are designed for children to have fun...yes we know they will get excited and jump about! That’s why you will never find glass in any of our set-ups, and all string and tea lights are battery operated. We use anti-allergy bedding, mattress and pillow protectors, and all bedding is washed with non-bio detergent alongside Dettol laundry cleanser, so you can be assured your camp will arrive as fresh as a daisy!

We have lots of package inclusions which add to the magic of the experience, but a firm favourite of the kids is the silly selfie props box and frame...everyone loves a selfie!

We have a variety of lovely camp themes for boys and girls. Each camp theme is unique and has been lovingly put together, taking a considerable amount of time to make sure everything is just right! I have always been creative and have a keen eye for detail so this part has been a real joy!

The fun doesn’t stop there! We also provide wigwam kids zones for weddings and special events, an ideal retreat for any junior guests to relax. And why should the kids have all the fun? Newly added to our services, we are now offering adults sleepovers too, prefect for hen parties, special birthdays or just a girls night in!
