Located in the heart of the village of Bleadon, the Coronation Halls are the principal venue for social and recreational activities for the community. Now modernised and well equipped, its origins can be traced back to the 1930's. This merging of up-to-date facilities with some of the older design features creates a un
ique ambiance very much admired by visitors and regular users of the Coronation Hall. Two halls are available for hire for a variety of functions by groups or by individuals - the original Coronation Hall and the interconnected Jubilee Room which was completed in 1997. The Coronation Hall incorporates a raised stage whereas the Jubilee Room has more 'free' space and is well suited to sporting or recreational events. Both the Coronation Hall and the Jubilee Room meet relevant local authority requirements. They are covered by an up-to-date Premises Licence enabling hall users to consume alcohol or other beverages on the premises when required. Certain conditions apply to this licence, full details of which are available on request. The Coronation Hall was set up as a charitable trust some years ago for the benefit of the people of Bleadon and the surrounding area. It is managed by an enthusiastic team of volunteers who form the Management Committee, the principal officers of which are the Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer. It’s not long now until The Bleadon Belles’ summer concert on Sunday 14th July. Don’t miss this popular summer event. Tickets from Bleadon Post Office and choir members include tea, and cake of course. There’s a raffle in aid of Children’s Hospice SW.

A very experienced local fitness instructor is proposing to start two new classes on Monday mornings at the Coronation Hall from mid-September and she would like some feedback on whether people are interested before finalising the arrangements.
The new 1-hour classes would be Total Tone at 9:30am, followed by Pilates at 10:30am.
Both classes are suitable for beginners as well as regular class-goers.

It is just a week until the next Bleadon Village Market. Satuday 20th April, 9.30-12. in the Bleadon Coronation Halls, BS24 0PG. We have a full house of amazing stallholders. Come along and meet them and browse the stalls for a birthday gift or delicious treat. Meet a friend and stop for a drink and a snack. See you there!🙂

This Saturday afternoon from 2-5 is the Bleadon Table Top Sale in the two Bleadon Coronation Halls, BS24 0PG. Come and join us at this fun event being run as a fundraiser for our village halls. There will be an eclectic mix of bargains for you to buy, from collectables to clothes, bric-a-brac, toys, kitchen ware, tools, anything and everything that you would find at a garage or attic sale. However, this event will also have refreshments, tea, cake, bar and a raffle.
BRING PLENTY OF CASH as our sellers will not have card machines!!
Park carefully in the village and walk if possible as parking limited at the halls. Its not far!

Bleadon Coronation Halls are at the heart of our community. So much goes on within the halls and this is what makes our village so special.
However, this does not happen without the help of volunteers to act as Village Representatives on the Hall Committee.
We meet once a month and are a friendly bunch.
