The weekend of 1st-3rd August was varied:

Friday/Saturday - sound control setup and engineering for The Street Party @ The Old School House and Court Yard

Saturday - DJing the wedding of Sophie & Jon @ Barmbyfield Barns

Saturday - our monthly residency @ Hop Pole Willerby

Sunday - sound and lighting for Craft Union Pub Company ’s Talent Competition (Divisional Final) @ The Punch Bowl, York.
We have since found out the winner on that night, Evie (who was brilliant) won the national final. Well done Evie!

We love a varied weekend, it allows us to show what we can do. Let’s see how we can help with your next event - whatever and wherever it may be!

We were happy to provide audio services, with speakers along the event area for commentary and music - for their annual open day. It’s not often you see all the emergency services in one place, when there isn’t a major incident in progress!

Before we get into this coming weekend (multiple events at multiple venues), let’s celebrate Aimee & James’ wedding reception from Saturday at Hull Humber View Hotel. A great night, and feedback! Did you know we work with venues own equipment, as well as ours? Yesterday we spent a few hours programming scenes for an end of year show on the house desk - back to tidy a couple of bits in a few weeks, and advise how they can optimise their rig

Hello! We’ve had a few people asking about services recently, with a mix of DJ and Sound/Lighting bookings/subcontract jobs coming in.

Have a great Easter weekend (and there is no such thing as too many chocolate easter 🥚 😁) - we’re taking it back to Soul and Motown territory (always popular in our non-club sets) on Saturday. Before joining the tech crew for The Old School House and Court Yard’s Easter Sunday clubbing shenanigans ☀️ 💡

After a weekend of manning Lighting desks for I.T.S.L. Sound & Light (Take Tomorrow and Guns 2 Roses at Welly 2, and for a full house at Cottingham Civic Hall for 80s soul legend Kenny Thomas - pictured), it’s back to spinning the tunes for Mr Wolfe Productions the next couple of weeks at one of our favourite places The Lexington. Engagement party and Awards Afterparty incoming 🕺 💃

Closing off January tonight for Mr Wolfe again, at The Lexington for Springfield Solutions’ 50th Anniversary.
Talking to one of the bosses earlier on, it turns out he was one of the runners we spurred on with our DJ ssts for Hull Marathon before the pandemic!

Also celebrating the first night of Cottingham Folk Festival 2024 at Cottingham Civic Hall for I.T.S.L. Sound & Light - Newton Faulkner (lovely team and a funny man) had a great warmup from NATI (always nice when they sign the CD!).
