A rare moment to catch a tiny snapshot from a HUGE weekend. 🫶🏼 A monumental team effort from the crew, several 1000 meals served, from fresh crayfish to Açai to yoga brunches with a few streakers thrown in. It all happened. Over and out for another year 🪩 it’s been a blast. Thank you 🎪🎟️

No rest for the wicked, a load out today and straight back to it for next weekend. The summer of entertaining continues, on Weds we’re heading back to the highlands 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 and the rest of the team are pulling out all the stops for a private party a little closer to home!

Eliza and Polly will be working hand in hand to expand the rapidly expanding floristry arm of the business 🌿🌺

🤫 Whisper it quietly but is that Spring on the horizon ?!(fingers crossed) After a winter of social media hibernation it’s time to say hello again! We’re sorry that instagram took a back seat but fear not, we’re still here… the winter months are full of planning, event tastings, writing menus, visiting suppliers, restocking, updating and general admin… all with a few events thrown in.

Those of you in the hospitality industry will know that it’s ‘goodbye’ to evenings and weekends from April onwards so perhaps most importantly for us, and our team at OEC, Winter is a chance to enjoy some family time before the busy, but immensely fun Summer Season arrives. 🙌

Game season 🦌

Particularly during the game season, lots of our private clients prefer us to create delicious menus using ingredients and produce straight from their estates.

Usually it’s Venison, Pheasant or Partridge alongside an abundance of root vegetables from the kitchen garden. Ahead of the event we liaise and collect all the produce from the head gardener/butler/game keeper and bring it back to HQ for our chefs to work their magic 🔪 👨🏻‍🍳

It’s a privilege to use such a variety of natures autumn pantry.

This particular dinner was fillet of venison, celeriac purée, hamburg parsley, fresh truffled mash and estate vegetables 🫛🧅 🦌
