The power in her voice, glasses tinkled…., cutlery shifted, people applauded ! What I liked very much about her was the way she drew in the audience. This song was new to her, special request from celebrant so she told the audience exactly that and before I knew it they were dancing and singing along… stars can be made but when your born one you’re 🔥 thank you!
has worked on so many events with me both in UK and abroad and remains fresh with each one. I choose him because he understands the brief and delivers … he was a DJ and dusted it back up last year… was brought on as an MC. However when I was speaking to him about the genre of music the client mentioned and Jide kept topping it up… 🤣 So I suggested he do this and I presented his duo credentials to the client and said I’ve not done this with him but I’ve seen him at work… he wanted a chat and I still remember the conversation, the laughter, the completing each others song list from the 80’s and 90’s and club vibes and the fact that he’d played at the celebrants friends event in USA which he’d missed… case closed.
Let him tell you how many jobs he’s got off this 🤣 He literally blew the roof. who’s responsible for these images, myself and my Team who have know Jide as an MC we’re awed… he combined both skills perfectly, had audience laughing and dancing… THAT IS A PARTY!
People would not leave… guests chanted We no go go….🤣
It was very enjoyable.
The crew I put together all delivered and I’m thankful to you all 🙏🏽🔥❤️

Ok got this one!
We work with a lot of moving parts as planners. However some of these are regular, always in place, reliable but as always you have what you call a risk plan or a back up. Always!
I cannot tell in this short space the journey it took, where my Videographer became my Photographer less than 5 hours before the event! This was never ever on the plan as A, B or C! Going outside the box got me here and I’m thankful it did!
The clients love what they’ve called the real and natural images you have gifted them and also know the journey we all took to get here and are even more awed.
You do have a gift, well done! Thank you!

This was one of my favourite events!
Every morning we had our breakfast meet ups. I remember asking for that private corner and then we got upgraded to a whole restaurant.
It’s essential for destination events. That’s how you create the bond and ambience that sees the whole group through. We were family. I loved that calling and knocking on each others doors, the group messages asking where are you, it’s importance because it all begins in the morning.
I met old faces and made new friends. Blessed with an amazing client and her family who I adore.
I must also give credit to all who played a part in making my life easier through the whole event.

A very likeable character😃
The only event photographer who’s asked me to pose for images, I’m usually on the move. He persuaded me ushering me around. 😅. I appreciate these images, I thank you.
He sent me a message.
I keep promising to do better with posting. I think I’m better this year.
I am keeping that promise.
Backlog of images, finding the time to sit and post is sometimes not possible, I share a lot on what’s app but I need to move over here because I do have some amazing clients event images from some amazing photographers.
I start and I loose momentum because my schedule can be a bit crazy.
I found on IG. Never worked with him before and it took him a few minutes with me to understand what I wanted. I saw his face looking worried with my intensity focussed on what is required and I knew the minute it sunk in. He never looked back! 😀
That was day 1 and my first few minutes of meeting him outside of what’s app.
I have just seen the images of me he sent in August, I did not even realise I had these.
I love them.
When the plan is set, the risks are noted and mitigated. On the day, I chill. Always in the background.
The planning ensures that I can do just that.
So I have apologised to him, for not showcasing the amazing young man whom we all adopted.
Working with a budget you put money where it needs to go to deliver your clients expectations.
With so many activities, we prioritised when we needed him and where to ensure full coverage.
The City Tour! He’s brief was to join us at the restaurant.
That morning he called me that he was on his way. Confused I explained we need you later. This young man, skilled photographer, funny and respectful with a passion for his craft, told me that he’d be there wanting nothing for it. He gave above what was asked and those images were fantastic!
I’m thankful for all that you did over the 5 days of back to back activities. Always punctual and knowing what is required without me even saying a word!
I chilled!
I promised him a Mikolo week! It’s coming soon.

I am staring at my Chicken wings and champagne and wondering how to rewind to this moment! The moment my feet found a chair to stretch out as teardown began!
Tomorrow some of our guests will be departing!
However today is another day!!! 😄 Those who know me will know that most of my destination events will have todays event tagged on! I’m hoping the guests aren’t too tired!! ❤️❤️❤️

The Event Planner 2.0 went rogue ooh! I found my fingers on the floor and my waist doing its own! 🤣 Ayeeeee! I was 40 when I first heard him! 15 years on my imaginary boyfriend with the 6pack chest is still churning it. Many know of my love for @2niteflavour and yesterday I dragged Ima along for an absolutely fun night! The atmosphere was electric! Naija people when we meet outside, their is a oneness, Unity, fun-ness and togetherness about us! I made new friends from strangers. We all loved flavour and I’m certain he felt it… uproar is the best description of when he stepped out in his 70’s styled high waist pants 🤣 his bling top and his melodious notes…. Next time I will pay for both shows so I can do this all over!!!
Let me start from the End…. We finally said good bye to this gorgeous venue….. Rooms were massive and facilities were 💯 From when she said Theatre Style… I knew this would be different and it was. It is usual to have an event where the celebrant does not know everyone. She knew every single person. Not even in passing. The 72 guests (we did start at 50) were either family or close friends. Absolutely gorgeous and serene venue. Planning was over months, in between she had to focus on her son’s wedding. That event was two days before this! I came recommended, word of mouth. Also by someone who had never attended any of my events and I’m so thankful for the referral💕🙏🏽. When you’ve lived with a project for so long and it finally comes to pass, it’s not only relief you feel. There’s also a bit of nostalgia for all that went into it, time, effort, calm moments, hairy ones then … The quiet. The day dawned and I was filled with so much energy and equal amount joy. She looked so regal, her outfit was 🔥 but more than that was her testimony filled thanksgiving. Tears flowed. The event was a 60th birthday dinner and dance but hours before that was a Thanksgiving Celebration. A celebration of life and God’s grace. Testimonies that wrung my heart and at the same time gave hope for better days to come were shared, it spoke of faith, strength, resilience and courage. Above all it spoke loudly of God’s Grace and Blessings. Her children read the Bible passages she selected, her close friend was the MC, her childhood friend shared a testimony, her brother anchored the cake cutting and her cousin is a famous cake maker who created the tower of cake boxes each containing individual cakes and also cut the fresh flowers for the table decor. When I say different! It was! With a lot of moving parts! We had @dayobello_uk and if you’ve not heard him, you are missing out on some strong vocal melodies. Photography was by on
I’ve not told you about my client? The good Doc himself! 🤣 When he calls me now he says “planner no be hype”! I like him. His can do attitude. Likeable even with his Raffia inspired cake! 🤣 That cake? Tastyyyyy! He likes life & enjoyment and his friends came prepared. Hesitant about my role in his plans. I’d say something to him and he’d say erm maybe not, example not sending save the date. 😱 I prepared it and awaited his return and he did. So we sent it. The reminder notice apparently he felt will disturb peeps.. ok. He came back and said that idea is necessary oh. That oh was unnecessary because I was ready. I always ask my clients are you a “late comer”. You know stroll in when you like when the invite says 5:00pm you leave home at 5:00pm?? If the answer is yes, the count down or reminder letter is a necessity because they will mirror you, your guests. Those who have had an Eddiiez experience will tell you, the letter is a “thing” they do not want to miss a single bit of the experience. When clients trust your judgement and understand you are working with and for them, it’s fantastic, this was fantastic! I truly enjoyed this event and so did everyone else I hear!. I think he was shocked when guests started turning up at 5:00pm. At 5:30 they were ready to find their seats. The party invite says 5:00pm? It will commence at 5:00pm thank you! He had the vision, all I did was bring it to life. We created the 80’s House party vibes, great music, fab vibes, plenty liquor and people with the groove control. The food was just absolutely fabulous and tasty! So when next a client says to me “Do you know the Evi Edna Ogholi era”. I will say yup, that’s Dr Akan’s Genre 🤣 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒘𝒆 𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝒇𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒂 𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝒔𝒐 𝒅𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝒕𝒐 𝒉𝒊𝒎. 𝑰’𝒎 𝒑𝒖𝒕𝒕𝒊𝒏

#kay50 #kay50th 🎥 Cheya It was lovely to receive a reminder of this day from a guest. @kayanpep is someone who doesn’t do crowd and parties but she was fiercely determined to celebrate this milestone age and she was right to. When she contacted me, she had just under two weeks and the mandate was unmovable, “𝑰 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒐𝒏 𝒎𝒚 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍 𝒃𝒊𝒓𝒕𝒉𝒅𝒂𝒚, 𝑰 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒎𝒚 𝒇𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒇𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒚 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒎𝒆 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒂𝒚.” With venues booked up from previous years, the search for one was not easy but when you have to deliver, you will find a way and I’m so glad we did. Everything seemed to fall into place for her. All the guests she invited turned up, all the vendors had an opening or a cancellation on the day. She glowed and flowed! I loved her laughing as she said how lovely it was not to have to worry and how stress free it was for her. That’s always the plan. Our in-house guest management system worked perfectly. Her guests got their formal invitations exactly 6 days to the event day and they all turned out to celebrate her as she deserves to be. There is so much to love and celebrate about Kay and I’m pleased that she chose @eddiiez_events to plan her special day.❤️
