It is with a heavy heart that Food Gusto, under the management of Kendal and Buckley Harris of the Slow Roast company, announces the ceasing of operations effective immediately. The last Food Gusto event was the Tamworth Food Gusto Festival 2023.

Food Gusto is excited to confirm that the Ashby Food Gusto Festival will be on the 25th/26th May 2024 on the Bath Grounds in Ashby. We look forward to building on the success of last years event. Information on exhibiting and our other 2024 dates should be confirmed later this year.

We accept Ashby de la Zouch Town Councils decision to partner with Ashby BID for Ashby Christmas Fair and hope that the event will continue to be a success.

The Tamworth Food Gusto Festival returns to the picturesque setting of Tamworth Castle Grounds on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th September!

The festival will bring a wide variety of artisan food and drink to the area for the eighth time, serving up locally-produced tantalising treats and decadent delicacies for people to nibble, bite, chew, sip and slurp.

There will be a wide range of exhibitors, bringing you the region’s best food and drink, who have all been hand-picked for variety, provenance and passion to ensure food lovers are able to experience a taste of the truly different.

The sight, smell and taste of amazing food is accompanied by a packed programme of entertainment and fun for the whole family, including food and drink sampling, live music and fairground rides.

The menu for brunch/lunch includes culinary delights such as Korean dishes, Thai curries, wood fired pizzas, pulled pork, Indian dishes and more. You can also quench your thirst with locally brewed beer from our beer tent, Nottinghamshire Cider, cocktails, local English wines or Prosecco, all followed by a smooth espresso, cappuccino or simply a cup of select tea with an artisan cookie or a slice of cake.

Visitors can also take home a variety of treats to enjoy later, or to share with their friends and family, including pies, handmade cheeses, olives, sauces and spices, bread, biscuits, cakes, tray bakes, doughnuts, gin, cider, craft beer and much more. We also have a selection of non food artisans for the perfect gift.

The Syston Food Gusto Festival is back THIS WEEKEND!

Set in the picturesque setting of Central Park, Syston, the festival will still have some of the region's best Food & Drink but over two days instead of one.

There will be a wide variety of artisan food and drink to the area for the fourth time, serving up locally-produced tantalising treats and decadent delicacies for people to nibble, bite, chew, sip and slurp.

There will be a range of food & drink exhibitors who have all been hand-picked for variety, provenance and passion to ensure food lovers are able to experience a taste of the truly different.

The sight, smell and taste of amazing food is accompanied by live music from Sincerely Yours, a 40s/50s and 60s hits duo who will perform a great set of live music on both days. There will also be fairground rides for the children.

Visitors can also take home a variety of treats to enjoy later, or to share with their friends and family, including pies, handmade cheeses, olives, cakes, tray bakes, doughnuts, gin, wine, cider, craft beer and much more. We also have a selection of non food artisans for the perfect gift idea.

We are pleased to announce that the Slow Roast company has acquired Food Gusto, under the management of Kendal and Buckley Harris, who have been Food Gusto exhibitors for the past 6 years. Kendal and Buckley have a wealth of experience as caterers and in running small events and they relish the opportunity to expand by taking on the Food Gusto Food & Drink Festivals, along with the enthusiasm to maintain the culture and success.

The previous team will provide support on the planning, organisation and communication in this first year, whilst the business moves over to the Slow Roast company.

The first Food Gusto event, under new management, is the Ashby Food Gusto Festival, set for the end of May on Ashby Bath Grounds – Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th May 2023.

We will post more details about the other events for this year in due course.

Thanks to everyone who turned out to the 2022 Ashby Food Gusto Christmas Fair.

Special thanks to Ashby de la Zouch Town Council and Radar Event Services for the great community entertainment on Saturday.
