NEW STAGE 2015
New Stage is a FREE local gig that has been set up by uStrike Ltd and Powys County Council in order to promote and restart the brilliant local music scene hidden in Mid Wales. On the 16th of May, Newtown will be booming with music of all kinds, lasting 12 hours:
12 PM to 5PM
We have some of the most talented brass bands in the area playing the most iconic songs to date. Turn up w
ith a picnic blanket and enjoy a day of chilled-out soothing sounds.
5PM to 12AM
This is when the party starts! With a mix of acoustic acts and full bands, we are set for a night of boogying to our hearts content. The gig will take place behind the Oriel Gallery fields, where the Newtown Carnival takes place. There will be an outdoor bar as well as local food merchants waiting to keep you going all night. So there is no excuse, get ready for a day of music, and lets finally bring back the music scene once and for all!
