Just over 6 weeks to go until a busy year of events kicks off for us.
March 16th sees the Reading 1020 from the lovely Mapledurham House.
Here's a video of our awesome multi terrain 10 mile course - about 40% road surfaces, 60% off road.
1 lap for our 10 mile event including Canicross 10 mile, 2 laps for the 20 mile. New this year is a Half Marathon option - you'll complete a 3.1 mile loop initially and then tackle this 10 mile circuit.

Our cracking Reading 1020 route for you; it's one lap or two laps for either 10 miles or 20 miles.
In addition, there's a new Trail Half Marathon too this year which includes a 3.1 mile loop followed by the main 10 mile loop.
Off road miles count for more, we all know that!

Recce of the Dell 10km course with the dog
Even on a grey and dreary morning our new Dell 10km course from Dummer Down Farm looks gorgeous. A couple of tweaks to make, but we're pretty much there.
Lovely wide tracks throughout, not a lot of mud even now! It's going to be a cracker on June 8th. Exactly what you want from an Ales & Trails event.

Our Winter Woolly 10km course from 2020! The video was made on the day that the 2020 event should've been, but Covid got in the way, so we walked it with the dog.
Just a slight tweak at the start & finish of the route this year, but otherwise it's the same.
A thing of beauty.
A reminder of our awesome Ramsbury Gold 10km course for you......
You'll have worked up a thirst by the end!
Currently we have 58 places remaining and entries will close once we reach capacity, or on August 8th, whatever comes first.

What a beautiful day checking out the Race the Sun 50km route, with a couple of tweaks for 2024.
It's absolutely stunning if we say so ourselves, featuring towpaths, woodlands, nature areas, bridleways and hiking trails.
What's more, it's flat. With only 235m of elevation gain (and loss) over 50km, in running terms that's hardly more noticeable than stepping up a curb!
Fully signed, free live tracking, personal nutrition drops, and a real danger that you'll consume more calories than you'll expend, what's not to like?!

Gorgeous scenery everywhere for this mornings jog around the Ramsbury Gold 10km from the awesome Ramsbury Brewery
We're biased of course, but this is seriously good 10km run; we're very excited about the 2nd event of out Ales & Trails series on August 11th.
Lovely course, lovely rural setting, great venue and facilities, with a medal, Ramsbury Gold 10km cup and a drink at the end 😀

Reading 1020 Course
A very pleasant stroll around our Reading 1020 course this morning with our event cockapoo.
It's a genuine multi terrain route with a bit of everything thrown in, lots of woodland trails and more road than anyone ever remembers from last years event!
Off- road miles count more, we all know that.
