Come to Work With Me! Invited to Hard Rock Cafe London showcase so off we travelled to London. Wrist bands on entry, sampled the canapes & drinks. To my suprised their plant based slider is actually really nice! Fascinating to learn the rock history and see all the memorabilia around as decor. We also had access to the vault and saw the extra special goods👀 Of course had a photo in the famous seat! Great space for networking events, lunch, dinner, team away days. WOW! What a trip in one of my new favourite cities 💙 I was invited to Edinburgh with EVENTit to Scotland for their #EXPERIENCEIT FAM trip and conference for #eventprofs We were treated to 1st class travel by train from the team at London North Eastern Railway. It started with 1st class lounge access at Kings Cross Station and then a wonderful 5 star service, for the 5 hour journey. 🚆 Pre-conference meet up was held at Fayre Play - Fun networking evening over fairground games and drinks. Great icebreaker and helps get everyone chatting with a room of 40+ people. Then a short tram ride off to bed at Leonardo Hotels - wonderful room and thanks for the treats! 🛌 The conference was held at EICC A full day of great speakers, seminars and so many wonderful connections made. I'll be adding more beautiful venues to my portfolio (can't wait to come back and explore, all those Castles and Country Manors ... these are some of my favourite kind of venues 🏰 ) Should out to my conference buddy Ongelique -we had a blast together - and she nailed her panel session! The day was followed by a safari dinner, which is now my absolute favourite thing and I cannot wait to plan something like this for a client event. It's a great opportunity to try different venues in the area and they food. We were treated to the following, 1st Venue - Starters and drinks at Le Petit Beefbar Edinburgh thanks Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel - Sharon foe the wonderful hospitality. The wine was delicious and I'm not normally a wine drinker! 2nd Venue - Mains and drinks at Hard Rock Cafe Edinburgh 3rd Venue - Desserts and more drinks at Tigerlily Edinburgh - managed to get a site tour here and wow what incredible décor and bedrooms! Massive thank you to Megan, Judith, Hope and rest of the team behind the scenes for pulling all this together.
