This is not a goodbye yet!

It's just to let you know in advance that our last day of opening is next Saturday 21st of December, then we will be back on Tuesday 7th of January to start a brend new year here at St Anne's House with all the wonderful people of and all of you of course!

Hello Bristol people!
Just a gentle reminder… Cibomatto Canteen in the new location at St Anne House is fantastic!

You can eat really good and genuine food (italian inspired) for little money! You can come for breakfast or lunch or just a snack with a nice slice of cake or a crunchy pizzetta, fresh from the oven! And don't forget our delicious coffee! 🎃

There is a bright, quiet, and big space where you can sit and read peacefully or work on your laptop, in a warm atmosphere (with a strong wifi connection!). And if you want to stretch your legs, there are wonderful forests just around the corner, like St. Anne’s Woods and Nightingale Valley, where you can enjoy the stunning 🍂 Autumn colors!

Feast upon ’s grand buffet featuring delicious, sustainable Italian-inspired cuisine made from locally sourced ingredients. For just £6.00 (or £10 with your first drink included).

Attention attention everyone! Our Moveable Feast is… guess what? Moved.. to Sunday, July 21st, due to the storm on Saturday the 20th, the originally scheduled day. This means that it will no longer be just a feast but a little festival. In fact, the Private Joys will play from 6 PM to 8 PM, followed by 😮.

There will be plenty of arancini and spaghetti eastoner with our premium tomato sauce 🍝 !

Some pics from our first, not last, Winter Dinner at ! Tables setting, 50's inspired menu and candles holder, food, some prep and us in a new kitchen (someone in the team has made a big step!! ;).

Thanks to everyone came and also took some of the photos, we were too busy to do it it :))! Thanks to the for hosting in their soil our cardoons, and thanks to all the team of !

We are happy to says that have been able to rise £100 for between the tickets and some donations! It was our first experiment in rising money and we are proud of it, specially because our food support many other small producers and remains always affordable! We will sure grown e learn more about combining our ethos to the help of other organisations that work to make our world better place for everyone.

Come on the 25th of January at our new event of food and art dedicated to cinema! Two medium length film of 30 mins matched with some nibbles and drinks prepared and served by Cibomatto team. The food is inspired by the films, and the screenings will be followed by a moment of sharing impression in an informal conversation. This is an experimental night, we hope it will be a recurring event where we can share masterpieces or hidden gems of the films images matched with our crazy food! Like many European countries, Italy celebrates (la s!) International Workers Day 1st of May! Festa dei Lavoratori celebrates the economic and social gains that Italian workers have achieved, such as eight-hour working days, safe working conditions, and the right to holidays.  Festa dei Lavoratori was preceded many years ago by “Il Calendimaggio,” an agricultural celebration marking the start of the growing season. Many regions in Italy still celebrate Il Calendimaggio – “calendi” means day, and “maggio is May – May Day.    At Cafe5 Cibomatto wants to reproduce the same atmosphere of happiness and joy, because we love partying  but also our job! We will make GNOCCHI from scratch in the morning starting from 12.30am and we will eat it all together at 2pm in a long wooden table open air!  A special duo will also dj for us, all kind of dance is allowed ;)! We will close the event with the usual Sunday Open mic at 6.30pm. CIBO MATTO BRISTOL

Born in 2018 in Bristol, Cibomatto is a sustainable cuisine project created by Elisa, Mari & Piero, three Italian food-lovers.

Our aim is to overturn the usual approach in the UK about foreign cuisine. We strongly believe in sustainability and connection between different cultures. As a result of these beliefs, our proposal is a combination of high-quality ingredients made locally with the expertise inherited from our families in Italy.

Cibomatto wants to recreate for you an authentic Italian taste without crossing the Channel. We instead prefer to explore the surroundings of Bristol in search of local producers and suppliers.

We are particularly proud of our Tortelli Piacentini filled with ricotta cheese made from an artisanal dairy farm based in east Somerset...
