Top 3 mistakes 🙃

1. Ordering too many invitations 🤔

REMEMBER – you only need one invitation per couple or family.
For example, 100 day guests will be roughly 50 – 60 invitations.
If you have an extra 50 evening guests, you may require about 30 invitations as there are likely to be more single guests. It's advisable to order a few spares too in case you need to add somebody to your list!

2. Ordering too late 🫣

The sooner you can place your order the better as my diary fills up well in advance. I would advise placing your order 2 – 3 months before you would like to receive it. 3. Asking me to replicate another person's design

❌️ Whilst I am happy to receive images as inspiration, I would NEVER and will not copy or replicate somebody else’s design. ❌️

This is one of my faves! 💚 SERENITY

I always feel like I shouldn't say that. Its a bit like your children, you should never have a favourite. 🤣🙈

It's just so dreamy with the gorgeous silk, raw edge ribbon combined with the soft torn edges of the card. 🫠

I love this colourway too but as I always say, available in lots of colours. 😉

This invitation comes with an information card, rsvp and heavyweight envelopes in a colour of your choice.

Made with love ❤️ using a heavyweight, ivory textured card combined with a floaty, silk ribbon.

The main invite is a wallet wedding invitation. It includes 3 pages with plenty of space to give your wedding guests all of that vital information. All neatly and conveniently held together with a hand tied bow.

REAL WEDDING ❤️

Hannah and Joe got married at one of my favourite venues, Heaton House Farm in October 23.

Hannah first got in touch with me not really knowing what she wanted in terms of style and design. She asked for something elegant and sophisticated with a navy and silver colour scheme.

After a few chats and shared photos, Hannah and Joe chose my Cosmopolitan collection. Definitely an elegant choice! They chose the pocketfold wedding invitation complete with 3 information inserts for their day guests and a matching flat invitation for their evening guests. The wedding day stationery included a guest book and menu booklets for the tables.

My first wedding fayre of the year will be at the most stunning venue.

THE BUXTON CRESCENT

SUNDAY 26th JANUARY

The venue will be dressed for a wedding and the fabulous wedding coordinators will be on hand to answer any questions. There will also be fabulous canapes and maybe even a glass of fizz! 🥂

Happy New Year you lovely lot!

I know I am a bit late to the party, but I like to do things at my pace these days. 😉

I hope you have all had a wonderful time over Christmas and are slowly easing back into reality. The dec's are gone, the house is tidy (sort of) and the cheese has finally been eaten.

ANNOUNCEMENT - please read

Since May of this year I have taken a bit of a rest from making wedding stationery. Whilst I have still worked with many couples during that time, I haven't taken on much new work. After over 17 years in business, I have felt the need for change.

I still ♥️ making wedding stationery.
I still ♥️ working with clients to help create their vision.
I still ♥️ nothing more than knowing I have contributed to one of the most important days in a couples life.

None of this will change.

Unfortunately work doesn't fall into your lap and I just don't love sales and marketing anymore.

For now, I plan to continue working with the amazing wedding venues that continually support me, (very grateful to them) and I will be at their wedding open days which I will share with you soon on my stories.

That does not mean I am exclusive to those venues, I just won't be putting myself under the pressure of constantly being present on social media in search of work.

In taking this decision for a more laid back approach, I feel happier already which ultimately, is the key to this change. I simply want to make pretty invitations and stationery without the pressure. I will still post here but it will be things I want to post, not what I feel I have to.

REAL WEDDING ♥️🧡💛🤎

Heather and James got married at the beautiful back in 2021.

They wanted to incorporate a travel theme, combined with an Autumnal look for their wedding stationery.
Having looked through my designs, they chose my Wreath collection as a starting point.

Having listened to their requirements, I created a simple concertina style invitation using Autumnal colours and travel elements. This theme followed through for their 'on the day' matching stationery. 🧡💛🤎

It was a pleasure working with Heather and James and I loved creating something personal and unique to them.
