THE ALEXIA GARDNER QUINTET
TUES 26th NOV

Vocalist Alexia Gardner has wowed audiences in Switzerland, New York, and most of South East Asia. A career spanning over twenty years, five vocal Jazz Albums, including a Grammy Nominee for her 4th album Chasing Hope.

At the quintet’s Black Swan debut, look out for those traditional Jazz classics as well as popular tunes with that laid back Jazz Swing vibe.

Alexia is spontaneous with her phrasing and vocalizing and promises another memorable show for her audience.

Her top class quintet features regional star musicians, and names you may recognise from our ; Alan Law on Piano, Jude Murphy on Bass, Harry Keeble on Tenor Saxophone and Abbie Finn on Drums.

The F Word is a debut Folk programme and Club at Newcastle Arts Centre. It offers lovers of Folk an opportunity to see top musicians, as well as hear local Folk artists sharing new music in the ‘Floor Spots’ ahead of the headline act. This new night celebrates the genre of Folk, programmes top talent, and connects audiences to new musicians.
