Just love this time of year when there is a great choice of seasonal vegetables to use to make gorgeous salads:

Barbecued Sweetcorn and Red Pepper with Avocado
Purple Panzanella.

Wedding Grazing Tipi style - at larger events most vegetarians prefer their food not to be mixed in with the meat options, so here at Salute we have half of the table for meat lovers and half for vegetarians.
Placing the table in the middle of the room stops the dreaded 'buffet queue' as 4 points of contact is possible.
All of this is possible without a kitchen (within a 10 mile radius)! Further afield access to some kitchen facilities is preferable but not essential!

As always The Cheese Shop Holmfirth provided Salute with an amazing selection of cheeses for our Grazing Table. this weekend. Check out their new shop (and soon to be café) in the middle of Holmfirth! You will also find them at Holmfirth Market on a Thursday and Saturday!
My favourite _ montagnolo and Honey Goat's Cheese 😋😋
Paired up with New Yorkshire Emporium chutney and pickles - favoloso!

A very busy Saturday catering for Jess and Adam's wedding sharing boards wedding. Not even the British weather could dampen the spirits.
Individual Boards for 110 including canapés while warming up by the fire!

As always we used our local suppliers The Cheese Shop Holmfirth, New Yorkshire Emporium, The Handmade Bakery, Bluebird Bakery, Holmfirth Fresh Fish

Happy 80th Birthday Meg! Loved catering for this special birthday party - sunshine and showers (typical British weather) but lots of great grazing to keep the guests happy.

Grazing Tables are suitable for all types of gatherings from small family parties to weddings that want a relaxed feel. A quiet few weeks here before a crazy June of weddings.

Super Salad Sunday for Pam and Amy at their Return to Love Retreat. Great to support this initiative and meet so many lovely ladies taking time out for themselves. This is the second retreat for this local group - after a very successful day I’m sure there will be more to come.

Small grazing tables are ideal for a group of ladies on a girlie ‘weekend away’. Perfect for the Friday night as everyone arrives (at different times), Sat lunchtime before drinks or in the evening if you prefer a relaxed affair with a bottle of fizz. After all it should be a chillout weekend.

“The best buffet food I’ve ever had” Judith
As a real ‘foodie’ this means a lot.

We pride ourselves in making the majority of our produce ourselves and using local suppliers whenever possible. 😋

Delicious porchetta, arancini, chorizo rolls and beef and horseradish skewers. At this time of year no table would be complete without a few ‘pigs in blankets’.

In October my husband helped friends harvest some of their olives. It was a fantastic experience and now we have some amazing Extra Virgin Olive Oil which we are using on our Grazing Tables. This superior quality oil has a floral and peppery taste with long aromatic notes.

A dash of good quality Modena Balsamic Vinegar and great bread (we recommend Handmade Bakery, Slaithwaite who have a weekly stall at Holmfirth Market every Thursday and Saturday)…. Simple but great tasting food 😋

What a way to end the busy summer season celebrating with Vicky Addy (50 fabulous years) and James Addy (20th Wedding Anniversary). Vicky has been a huge supporter of Salute Grazing Tables and Event Catering for the past 4 years so it was lovely to be helping her and James celebrate in true Italiano style. A lovely evening of great food at 1884 Bar with lots of dancing despite the heat!

My very first event was at The Modern Language School way back in 2019 for Vicky and our business survived Covid and then thankfully gone from strength to strength.

So….now off for some R&R ✈️

Congratulations to Madeline and Phil who got married in Hebdden Bridge and then headed to the Old School Room near the Bronte Museum where they experienced a stunning grazing table full of both savoury and sweet goodies. With both the bride and groom being gluten and dairy intolerant lots of alternative plant based grazing. Yummy ....😋

Salute's third event for Clare and Warren Walton who today celebrated 50 years of marriage. It was an absolute delight to cater for them today and meet their gorgeous family once again. Big hugs all round....Warren completed a beautiful heartfelt speech which brought a tear to the eye. They really are a testament to us all of what a marriage should be like.

Always great to cater for clients a second time. 2 years ago I catered for Michelle and Simon’s wedding…. this time it was Simon’s 65th birthday. Lucky with the weather - again.

Lots of lovely Italian style meats with of course plenty veggie options as well….including our scrumptious tomato and pea arancine 😋

Dessert Tables are definitely 'on trend' for weddings! Here at Salute Grazing Tables we do everything from 'Let Them eat Cake' to our Pick and mix table (meringues, scones, brownies, Italian pastries, florentines, fruit, cream, chocolates....)

Thank you so much for providing such amazing food for my party on 1st July 2023.

When I first saw the food displayed on Salute 's website I knew this was what I wanted for my 70th birthday celebration: food that looked beautiful, unusual and delicious.
Kay has been very efficient, helpful and communicative throughout the planning and organisation. On the night the table looked fantastic, surrounded with leaves and flowers, and piled high with tempting, colourful food.

Thank you, Kay, for helping to make the party such a joyous celebration of life, family and friendship. I will certainly recommend you to anyone wanting something very special for their celebration.
