If you're looking for a showstopper Wedding cake that can be designed to fit in with your guest numbers, colour scheme, flowers, Wedding stationery or anything else you've chosen for your special day then please feel free to get in touch.
I usually work exclusively with just one couple per week for bespoke design cakes so available dates do book up fairly quickly, and although August is fully booked I do have the option to reschedule some of my workload if needed to accommodate a Wedding.
Simply message or contact me via my website to start your bespoke cake journey, reserve your Wedding date, arrange a design consultation at my studio and take home a flavour sample box to help you decide which flavour/s you'd like to serve to your guests.

~Fairytale Wedding~
Another of my favourites from last year was this very elegant 3 tier cake, lot's of details including a hand painted edible shimmer tier with royal icing hand piped pearls, edible glitter flakes and a pretty ruffle effect bottom tier...beautifully displayed on one of my bespoke hand made hoop stands.
This particular design also included some very beautiful silk roses to tie in with a very subtle Beauty and the Beast theme and reception table settings.
I'm already receiving enquiries for 2027 Weddings so if you're planning your special day and think that my style is just what you are looking for then please get in touch soon to see if your date is still available and arrange your design consultation/tasting.

I've been part of Sugar Art for Autism for several years now and I'm still amazed by the creativity of the cake artists, not forgetting our design inspiration artists that are on the spectrum.

This really was a gorgeous colour palette for this intimate Wedding cake: hand painted shimmering pale blush pink with a ruched fabric effect paired with a crisp matt white top tier & pretty artificial florals to complete the design...

~Sugar Art for Autism~
For several years I've taken part in this wonderful collaboration of worldwide sugar artists to help raise awareness for this very worthwhile cause. Our creative autism partners provide us with the inspiration to work from and we each get to work designing something that ties in with their original designs.
This year I again had the honour of working with an original design by Michael Ryan Andolsek, who designs and makes one of a kind dresses for his clients along with stunning costume jewellery. I was instantly drawn to these beautiful pink diamanté earrings and knew that I just had to do something that sparkled...

~2024/2025 Weddings~
It's been such a busy month of celebration cakes, Wedding Fayres and design consultations so I'm a little behind in sharing photo's.
My Wedding diary is steadily filling up for both this year and next. I typically only take on one bespoke Wedding client per week to ensure each and every design receives the care and attention it deserves, this means that available dates are now quite limited especially those sought after Summer Wedding dates.

Not many spaces are left available for this year now and next year is starting to fill up fairly quickly too. If you're looking for someone to create your bespoke Wedding Cake please get in touch soon to see if your date is still available.
If you don't have a design or colour scheme in mind just yet that's okay, you can still reserve your Wedding date in my diary with a booking payment and we can finalise the smaller details at a later date...
Just some of my services that you can expect as standard are:
~A design consultation at my studio where you'll be able to see exactly where your cake will be made. You can bring along any samples of colours, florals, stationery etc if you'd like them to be incorporated in your cake design in some way.
~A complimentary flavour sample box to take home to help you decide which flavours you'd like to serve your guests.
~A sketch of your design created by using professional cake sketching templates to give you an idea of how your finished cake will look.
~Payment plans to help you spread the costs.
~Professional delivery and set up at your venue on the big day. I'll also coordinate with your other relevant suppliers and venue during the lead up too just to make sure everything is in place for a seamless set up.
If you'd like to meet me for an informal chat first I'll be at Pennine Manor Hotel Wedding Fayre on Sunday 3rd March 12pm till 4pm with some of my display cakes, along with many other highly recommended Wedding Suppliers who'll also be available to offer their expert advice for your special day.

It seems such a long time ago now since Chloe first visited my studio with her mum. We chatted over lots of different design ideas but I think she chose the perfect design for her special day, inspired by wild countryside flowers to tie in with her gorgeous reception room vintage décor.
I don't always get to see my couples on the day if their cake set up time is much earlier than they arrive so it's especially lovely when they get back in touch afterwards. When you provide a personalised service for your clients Wedding it always brings a huge smile to receive such wonderful feedback from them.

Inspired by a design sent by the client; edible wafer paper, layers of hand painted edible shimmer and edible glitter flakes all came together to create a very pretty and sparkly wedding cake.

~ When should you book your Wedding Cake?
The simple answer is as soon as you have booked your Wedding date with your venue you should secure your suppliers too.
Many of the most popular professional Wedding suppliers can book up pretty quickly, especially for those sought after Summer dates. Some suppliers can even be fully booked two to three years in advance so if you have any favourites that you really want to work with it's highly recommended that couples make that initial enquiry as soon as possible. If they have your date available most will happily accept a booking payment to secure your date for you, leaving you plenty of time to finalise the smaller details at a later date.
If you're still looking for your bespoke cake maker for 2024 0r 2025 then please get in touch soon, even if you're not sure which style, design or colour scheme you want just yet. I offer professional design consultations at my studio around six months before the big day so that any details you've chosen by then can be incorporated into your cake design. You'll also get to take home a delicious cake flavour sample box too just to make sure you choose the best flavour/s for you and your guests.
I still have fairly good availability throughout next year and 2025 but have received lots of enquiries from recent Wedding Fayres so those available dates will soon be gone.

I absolutely love it when my couples choose something a little bit different for their Wedding cake design.
Lucy and Rory chose a combination of two previous designs of mine, modern tall tiers with sharp edges in black, white and touches of gold. Finished with hand painted details, an Antler glass separator for additional height and pretty silk flowers to tie in with the bouquet.

The Wedding fayre at Pennine Manor Hotel this weekend was the perfect opportunity to take a few quick shots of one of my most popular designs alongside a beautiful table set up by Attention to Detail. It shows that even just a few touches to a table dressing can really bring a design to life and tie your Wedding cake in with everything else you've chosen for your reception.

I'm overwhelmed with absolute gratitude, not only do I have a job that I love but I get to work with some truly incredible people. I feel very passionate that my cake designs should include each of my couples own ideas of how their Wedding cake should look so this really does mean the world to me.
The competition is extremely fierce this year and my category includes not just Wedding cake designers and cake makers but also chocolatiers so I'm very grateful to even be a finalist. Such a gorgeous theme for Lee & Hannah's beautiful Wedding at Huntsman Inn yesterday.
During their design consultation they chose a slim silhouette three tier cake, covered with luxury white chocolate ganache and a top coat of shaded navy blue buttercream with raw textured edges, finished with silver painted stars and their own custom topper to tie in with their Wedding stationery and colour scheme...
Flavours: Vanilla bean sponge with Vanilla buttercream, Rich chocolate sponge with Chocolate buttercream & Rich chocolate sponge with Oreo buttercream.

Cake International and Cake Masters Magazine Awards you were an absolute blast. It was such a busy weekend working on Emma Stewart cake designs stand for her new book launch (go check out her page to get your copy if you missed the exhibition) demonstrating on Sugar Press by Crafty Designs stand (despite the slight needle bottle explosion 😂) getting to see so many talented cake friends from all around the world again, not to mention the incredible exhibit and competition pieces.
