With new legislation around the death certification coming into full force on September 9th we foresee that there will be significant changes to the process and timelines of arranging funeral services. Please rest assured that we will do everything we can to assist our families by providing clear and concise guidance and information around this through our website, our information guides, and of course by speaking with them directly. We are currently working with our trade associations to ensure that our team are fully briefed on all of the new legislation to continue helping in any way they can. As ever, we are only ever a telephone call away.

Today, we are celebrating our TWO YEAR anniversary. We honestly don't know where the time has gone. It only seems like yesterday that we signed the lease and got the keys to our premises.

First of all, we want to thank each and every one of our clients who entrusted us with their loved ones final wishes over the past two years. We know that it may have been daunting choosing a new Funeral Directors, but without you choosing us, we may not be here today. We also want to thank all of the businesses that have been working with us over the past two years; Gateway Publishing, regent house of flowers, Steve Soult Limited, and of course, our Carriage Masters to name but a few. Without you all, our business wouldn't run as efficiently as it does.

Although this is fresh , we can also make in artificial, I love these musical tributes , as not only are the notes all individually hand made from ribbon and wire , the actual tune is the first bar of the loved ones favourite music , so it is incredibly personal for that person .

Here's something to think about ...
one of the reason's I created a Tribute hire on lettering and coffin sprays were beacause the sheer cost of the larger items can be hard on a family at a difficult time, when they are sorting out the other funeral costs, so often I see familes not having what they want in the lettering because it just does not make sense to spend so much when they get left at the Crem and the rabbits eat them and they are thrown away after 5/7 days.

When my father in law passed away the family decided to use the Hire service to have his name ( 5 letters) DAD - GRANDAD and a white coffin spray .
the total of the hire would have been (on todays hire prices) total £260.00

Had we opted with the Fresh flowers it would have been £1,050.00

by hiring the family saved a massive £790.00 !! think where that saving could have gone towards on other services that the Funeral Director can offer..

So often in life we don't want to think about funerals etc, but if you were to go to a wedding no expensive is spared on the HIre that alot of places provide for the weddings that again only take place for 1 hour service and the sit down meal for the day , and this is already having a huge impact on the Independant florists, as often the wedding hire is not by an actual florist , where as the funeral hire IS made by florists and hence we can do a bigger range of colours of the lettering etc.

This is one of the MAIN reasons I am so incredibly passionate about this service, as it really does help to ease the stress of the funeral costs, and also after the funeral , people actually came up to me to say that they hadn't realised that the flowers weren't fresh , in that very difficult and upsetting half an hour service , noone was looking at all the flowers and it was only afterwards when the friends and family went to look at them it was realised that they were not real...

This is something we should be talking about and sharing , as difficult a subject that it is , it can certainly help families if they know this is available in the Wrexham - Mold and Chester area

For us , being able to promote such a sensitive and often "taboo" subject , is very hard , and we appreciate not everyone wants to think about the loss of a loved one .
We do distribute our leaflets to the local Funeral Directors, but there is such alot to take in and deal with in such a small space of time, so we would appreciate if anyone would share our service to others to help save costs for families at a difficult time .

Loving how the lettering can change , just by changing a line of flowers, here are some examples , it can make the letter stand out more , be a favourite colour of a football team , or have solid letters without a corsage, we are here on hand to help you make these decisions and advise .

Loving our NEW pink range , we have two shades , a very pale dusky antique pink and a bubblegum pink, each very eye catching , team with alternate corsages , which can be from a range of different colours, or if you prefer we can do just based letters, the choice is yours.

Here are a few of our 5 ft coffin sprays.
We only use high quality silk flowers for our sprays,we want them to look as realistic and real as possible, each one is "weighted" down so they won't be unstable if the weather is windy .

I decided to offer a range of different colours and style to fit most occasions, we have a full daffodil spray for apartiotic welsh person, or exotic with orchids and strelitzia for the more modern , not forgetting a traditional red and white, we have TWO options for this style , a classic whites and creams and also an all white lily spray .
In addition to those we offer a pastel rose spray , peaches and blues , traditional blue & white , purple and white , and a mixed pinks - blues and whites.

As our service grows we are happy to look at further options for our sprays, as we appreciate that everyone has their individual needs.

At £65.00 each to hire, they are a welcome option if wanting just a single tribute, compared to fresh these save over £150.00 compared to fresh flowers, a saving that can help with a memorial cost or extra services from your funeral director.

Our Story .

About 5 years ago I decided to start making artificial lettering to hire, we have a unique concept as our lettering can also have interchangeable corsage sprays, this allows more choice to our customers.

The reason I wanted to expand our range is because I could see how much it made a difference to families when choosing their flowers .

We do not use this service instead of fresh flowers, but to run along side it, as the lettering in recent years has risen due to the prices of fresh flowers, this is why we ONLY offer a lettered tribute hire and coffin spray , we do not do any other items as they are more personal to the families .

In comparison of fresh flower letters at £55 per letter our 3 letter word frame is only £55.00 to hire, this is a saving of £110.00 .
We have many options of personlised lettering & our NEW range of coloured lettering from £60.00 per 3 letters.

Our coffin sprays are hired for £65.00 each this is a huge saving from £200 compared to fresh flowers.

Our aim is to provide a high quality service which is as realistic as fresh flowers, as Crematorium services are only an hour long and the flowers seen briefly ,before being left outside for the elements ( hot / cold weather) or the rabbits to eat , so this also reduces the wasteage for the Crem's too , but for me most importantly it can help families keep their costs low, in a time where we are all worried about the "cost of Living" , the extra pennies can help to put towards a memorial for your loved one or extra services with your funeral director.

Every tribute hired we provide a fresh posy arrangement when we collect the items, this way cards can be put on them and the name plaque of your loved one will be left with a token to remember their farewell.
