SOLSTICE ON THE MOUNT 2024
We’re super excited to announce our full line-up for our incredibly special summer solstice celebration on 20th June.
NICK MULVEY, with his distinct blend of folk, pop and intricate guitar work, will be on stage at 9.50pm at the pinnacle moment when the Solstice takes place; framing themes of nature & spirituality and connecting us all in time & with the natural world around us.
RODRIGO Y GABRIELA, bursting with Hispanic passion & long-established masters of their instruments, will create a unique and truly explosive performance on just two acoustic guitars, fusing jazz, flamenco & Latin.
The FIRESIDE SESSIONS, under a canopy of stars & ancient woodland in Wasing’s Sacred Glade, will feature AWARË; a musical odyssey that transcends the conventional boundaries of sound, creating a captivating and immersive atmosphere, inviting listeners to embark as co-creators on a soul stirring experience. And AJEET, a world music artist with mesmerising vocals, will weave inspiration from traditional folk to mystical and meditative soundscapes, journeying through melody & sonic texture.
We are proudly supporting Médicins Sans Frontières, an international humanitarian organisation providing medical care in more than 70 countries , who treat patients on medical needs alone & provide life-saving care in crisis zones. Back for its 3rd year, Wasing’s Pumpkin event is taking place from 20th - 29th October with plenty to enjoy including picking your own pumpkins from this year’s bumper organic Jack O’Lantern crop, stepping into a fairytale pumpkin carriage, ambling along the decorated woodland trail with plenty of hocus pocus to spot along the way, navigating the twists & turns of our brand new maize maze and warming up afterwards with some tasty seasonal snacks, sweet treats & hot & cold drinks under our stretch tent with wonderful countryside views.
