How long should your wedding reception be? ⁠
⁠
A question I get asked all the time and that needs to take into account a couple of key things:⁠
⁠
- How many pictures do you want to take (hint, don't aim for hundreds, gathering up guests takes a long time!) - you'll want time to eat, drink and mingle either side...⁠
⁠
- How many canapés are being served - if you've got a later start time you might skip canapés in time for the meal, but keep in mind whilst drink is flowing it's important to keep soaking it up... If you've got an abundance of canapés circulating you can get away with a lengthier reception.⁠
⁠
- Number of guests attending - bigger guest numbers tend to mean longer receptions, this gives you more time for those photographs(!) a chance for you to speak to more of your attendees and extra time for everyone to find their seat for the wedding breakfast. Just be sure to provide enough canapés and drinks to keep everyone happy!

Jessica and Matthew tied the knot (after multiple reschedules thanks to their original date being in 2020!) at Trinity Buoy Wharf, Greenwich.

Their wedding style was elegant and autumnal, with peachy-pink tones and bold reds; perfect for a late October celebration.

During our planning journey together they had to switch venues, meaning we had to go back to the drawing board with some logistics, however it was worth the wait; with gorgeous florals from and captured perfectly by .

Honey I'm hoooome 🍯❤️

Erm, where did August go?! I was busy giving myself a month of the grid and boom, its September - so I'm back! Here's an up to the minute snap of me because I'm at the train station on my way to London for a branding shoot with - turns out summer being over doesn't mean the work is!

For those of you delightful babes who have jumped on board with me whilst I've been away, here's a little bit about me, Kate 😘

🎉 I'm a coordinator-extraordinator - I'm the girl you want with you on your wedding day to make sure it goes to PLAN
🎉I've got a 4 year old who's about to start school and I feel like this about it 😭😅💔🎉😭😭🙌 - it's a lot.
🎉Last month I decided to do 100 days sober which, if you know how much I love tequila (and subsequently behaving like a tit) is a big deal. I'm 2 weeks in and surprisingly loving it.
🎉I started my biz in 2018 and am already nearly fully booked for 2022, I'm really proud of myself and I don't care who knows it 💁‍♀️
🎉I love trash TV, the sea, pork scratchings and soft furnishings - last month I bought a huge blue velvet sofa and I can barely sleep with the excitement of its impending arrival (still another month, who's counting!)
