This picture is from one of the first venues we hit when West End Magic went on the road last year. Well, we're back at the Key Theatre in Peterborough on Friday. Just catching up with some admin this week, and realised I hadn't posted this.
Looking forward to being back as one of the suppliers at tonights Wedding Fare at this lovely venue.

Following on from my last post I made it to the book launch of The Illusionist, last week and got my own signed copy of the book and got to see me mentioned in the Acknowledgements - yes I only had a very tiny part in the whole thing, but it's still exciting to know something you've helped with is now "out there" - and yes I do need to get out more :-)

Also spent some time talking to other attendees and made some potential connections, and also did a bit of magic - I did ask first :-)
Sadly, Shane Miller who taught Rob the trick, couldn't make the event, but everyone was highly complimentary - so good work by Shane, and great work by Rob - especially as a "non-magician" :-)

A wonderful time, thanks to Rob for the invite and I've got a link to buy the book (audiobook read by Al Murray) and another look at the video below :-)

At the end of last year, I was delighted to be asked by Rob - via The Magic Circle library team, to help with some magical advice on his latest book.

I got to read a pre-release draft of the book and offer some advice on some of the magical terminology used etc. and it was a really enjoyable story.

I'm also very happy to have got Robert and a magician called Shane Miller together, as Shane had previously done a whole routine on the ghost army at the IBM convention and I thought he would be a great fit - and he was! :-)

I'm really excited to be off to the press launch of the book on Thursday, and in the meantime, here's the author performing a little magic trick giving an outline of one part of the story, I'm slightly annoyed as his magical skills are much better than my journalistic skills :-)

If you enjoyed Operation Mincemeat, you'll enjoy this I think - it's the story that happened before Mincemeat and is an interesting and fascinating story :-)

Spending a couple of days in Norfolk prior to the West End Magic show at the Sheringham Little Theatre - It never gets old seeing our poster outside the venue - and look at the company we're in ! :-)

There's only a few tickets left (about a handful), so if you know anyone in the are please do let them know we have a fabulous show lined up and will be performing with one of the people I met when I first started magic many years ago. :-)

This Sunday, 3rd March, I'll be exhibiting at Coltsford Mill Wedding Venue talking to couples about how I make their day run smoothly, whilst keeping the guests entertained and ensure that the day is memorable for all the right reasons.
