As autumn progresses and the flower garden starts to slow down, the final few bunches seem very precious 🍂 As much as I will miss gathering the flowers, I love to watch the changing seasons. Misty autumn mornings with heavy dew and sparkling cobwebs are magical 🕸️✨

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has bought flowers from me this season - it means such a lot and drives me on to clear all the flower beds and start off hardy annual seedings ready for next year 🌱🌱🌱

We've had a bumper crop of apples this year which friends and neighbours have helped us to munch through!🍎 🍏 The apple trees are also home to some lovely mistletoe bunches which will be ready to harvest in time for Christmas workshops ... dates to follow shortly ⭐

About five years ago I asked Lee if we could have a shelter in the flower garden so that I wouldn't get too soggy or scorched when arranging my flowers. He decided he could make one and the 'elephant' was born (so named because of its chunky legs!) but spent the next five years in kit form taking up a lot of space on our dining room floor 🙄.
Finally the elephant has been allowed out and is standing proudly in the garden... I definitely think it's been worth the wait 🐘❤️. I especially love the string holder 🤣

Thank goodness I picked some of these beauties before the wind and rain arrived! The funky curly hairs around the chocolate centre of the Zinnia made me smile and I can't help stroking the petals of the bright orange Torchlight- they feel just like velvet ❤️

After an incredible summer, it feels like autumn has arrived 🍂🍁 Foliage is gradually changing colour and flower production is slowing down but the garden offers some real gems at this time of year in fabulous, rich colours.
I will be cutting these treasures for as long as I can so just give me a call if you would like to order a bunch of autumn beauties 🍃

Some of my flowers happily travelled off to Berkshire last week to help celebrate the wedding of Charlotte and Ben.
Charlotte requested an organic feel using gentle colours - naturally beautiful!

Thank you for sharing your gorgeous photos! 💕

Yesterday I met a couple of gentlemen who bought flowers for their wives 'just because ' (one of them assured me he wasn't in trouble for anything ! 🤣)
I like to name my larger bouquets and I think this one is definitely 'Summer Sunshine' with Vanilla Ice sunflowers taking centre stage.
The week ahead is going to be all about wedding preparation - love is definitely in the air ! ❤️❤️

I recently felt honoured to be asked to do a demonstration and talk about my home grown flowers (I was pretty nervous but the smiley faces in the audience soon helped me to settle - thank you 😁😊!)
The event was organised by Janice Fleet and her family in memory of dear Katie. It was a love - filled afternoon with tea, delicious cakes and a raffle.
Adrienne was happy to take home her colourful arrangement. I bought a chocolate cake for Lee's birthday and it was pronounced the 'best fudge cake ever'! ⭐
The Fleet family have been fundraising in aid of CRY for several years and have managed to raise enough for a local heart screening session for the young which is just amazing ❤️
Thank you, Janice, for asking me to be part of this special day Xx
