Ok so... has this ever happened to you before? You have an image so clear in your mind that you make all your plans around that vision only to now realise you imagined wrong🙈

That was me and my hat! I was in my "How Stella got her groove back" zone so much so that i went looking for a hat just like Stellas (from my memory of reading the book and watching the movie almost 20 years ago). They tried to sell me many hats and i was like "No its the one Stella was wearing gan gan i want to buy!"🤣🤣🤣. Finally i thought i found what looked like Stellas hat and bought it. ?!

Well not quite... i just found the "How Stella got her groove back book cover and stills from the movie and my hat is not even close! 🤣🤣 Ah well...in my head I nailed it sha🤣🤣🤣

So last week I got 3 orders on my Etsy store 1 from Australia, another from Miami Florida and the other from Germany!! I am so tickled that pretty little things I made with my own hands are making their way to different parts of the world! I'm not saying is ready to go PLC yet😄 but I am so stoked that my hobby is growing legs...or should I say airmiles 😄

My Butter-rumpus was such a character. Always up for an adventure whether it was a spin in the car, a seat on a high shelf or hiding in the cupboard during our "in-case-tiff-comes" drills 🤣. Still miss you my darling ❤

Went to watch in theatre with my friend Fols as I call her. I spent half the time being transported to my childhood where I would lie on the couch and watch the VHS video tape over and over again with my younger siblings. Was so nostalgic. As many times as I had seen the movie there were parts on there I dont remember especially the end. Remembered all the songs though. Eliza was magnific! Cant.wait to go see this again with my Oya group it's on the schedule for later on this year.

and I went to see last night. Spoiler alert: Some men are Bastatds 😡 ( but I guess we all already know that 🤣) I felt like climbing down from my seat to go and slap one actor. It was that good the orchestras made the emotions you felt real, moving and super dramatic. Anyway ticked that off my bucket list now. has been on my list for a few decades now. Done and dusted dont think I would go and watch it again unless the format is changed from. to and I doubt it but that's ok. But! ...I'll tell you what I hope to do again soon; it's to go back to the on the building is so breath taking modern and beautiful. Definately need to go back for tea or a meal or even just drinks at the bar and restaurant👌

...and so our story ends.

Buttercup passed away on Monday following a brief illness. The vet was called out and he "treated" her and she was found lifeless on Monday morning.

Many were fond of Buttercup and she inspired a few families to get pets for their kids after they met her. Buttercup lived a happy and playful life. She created many unexpected friendships for me and took me to a few new places such as a dog show where she came 2nd and a TV morning show -yes my Buttercup has been on TV!. She was very loving and loyal. She never forgot a face even if she had not seen you in months. Funny though because she was partially blind so I should say she never forgot a voice.

She made me experience what it felt like to feel lucky because that's just how I felt when we drove home the night I got her. She was never meant to be mine. I asked for a brown dog because I did not want the stress of keeping a white dog clean. When I got to the dog sellers place he told me he had sold the puppy I paid for and that I could have Buttercup instead and so I took her home with me that evening and gave her a bath. She screamed the house down she had never been bathed in the 8 weeks she was with the dog seller. A couple of days later the dog seller called and said the person who bought the brown dog had returned him and I could swap Buttercup for the dog I initally wanted but it was too late we were already in love.

Buttercup brought luster to my life. She was a good listener and a skillful influencer. Buttercup I wish you a bigger, happier life in the beyond. I know I'll be fine and my world wont stop without you but I also know that everytime I see a dog just like you I will remember that you are not here anymore and that place you occupied in meart will sting hard. Thank you for all the happy and unexpected memories. May your soul find rest and joy in the big park in the sky.

Ps: I should not have to say this but if you are not a dog lover or dont understand the pain of losing a pet please respect my pain enough not to leave a careless comment on my page.
