It’s been a mad busy week but these buckets of dreams where a little moment of calm. We are heading up to Yorkshire today to visit family. By far the furthest I’ve been in 18months. I hope you all have plans to enjoy the sun this weekend. #calmingmoments #littlemomentsofhappiness #weddingflowers #bucketsofflowers #locallygrownflowers #britishflowers #naturallygrown #growingfornature
Sound on to catch the perfect video bombing 🐝 A little wander through this wonderful colour palette of flowers that went out this morning. So many shades of lavender and lilac and great textures too. Larkspur, achilea, sage, poppies, scabious, delphiniums, nepeta. #lilacflowers #fridayflowers #weekendflowers #beefriendly #locallygrownflowers #britishflowers #colourandtexture #naturallygrown #grownfornature #cambridgeflowers
A wander through a bucket of the fairy flowers. The delicate but impactful filler flowers that make a bouquet or arrangement float. Saponaria, Covent Garden gyp, ammi majus, achillea and the soft butter yellow is parsley which is so beautiful when it goes to seed and I grow it just for the flowers. The feverfew is also starting now so there is loads of choice. All available for florist orders and bouquets. #umbellifers #fillerflowers #summerlovin #delicateflowers #flowerlove #naturallygrown #grownwithlove #fairyflowers #britishflowers #flowersforfloristscambrige #cambridgeweddingflowers #growingwithnature #seasonalfloweralliance
I thought I should share a little wander through the cornflowers from yesterday evening. I go to the plot every evening at the moment to work but also because it is the most peaceful and relaxing place to be. Sound on to hear the birds and the bees too. I am very lucky to have this space. #naturesbeauty #cornflowers #peace #birdsong #eveninglight #mylife #locallygrown #growingfornature #feedthebees #ecoflowers #meadowflowers

I spent today making sure all the dahlias were correctly labelled and then tying different coloured string to mark any that are to come out, be moved or taken out and sold on next year because I have too many or they don’t perform well enough as a cut flower. I thought I’d walk you through some of them before the frosts take them for this year. The next few weeks are looking a bit bleak but I’ll try to keep posting flowery beauties to try and keep our hopes for next year going. #dahlias #firstfrost #lastflowersofsummer #keepinglookingforward #britishflowers
This morning buffet of flower buckets. Each one a slightly different brief, some for weddings and some to be made into gift bouquets. Over 700 stems of flowers and foliage. It’s quite amazing what can be cut in one day from my little 1/4 acre plot. It has really done me proud this year. #britishflowers #cambridgeweddingflowers #flowersforflorists #bucketsofflowers #locallygrownflowers
