I love seeing the autumnal colours coming through in the leaves we’ve seen on some walks recently - it reminds me of this veil where we used in an autumnal colour palette and blackberries to capture the beauty if this season 🪡🍁🍂

One of the greatest joys in my work is when my brides send me photos of their special day.

A common theme I often see in the photos is the bride’s partners, family members, friends, and loved ones admiring the veil—taking in all the unique aspects, motifs, messages, and embellishments that tell their love story.

Imagine your loved ones, standing close, pointing out the carefully chosen details—each one holding a piece of your journey together.

They read the hidden words, trace the embroidered symbols, their eyes lighting up as they notice the unique motifs and smile at the stories these embellishments tell.

These are the moments that make my veils more than just an accessory; they become part of your love story, something deeply personal and unique.

Seeing this unfold reminds me why I pour my heart into every creation.

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚 𝒃𝒆𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒚 𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒐? 𝑰𝒕’𝒔 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒃𝒊𝒈 🪡✨

When I designed my new logo a couple of years ago I worked with my dear friend and graphic designer, Beth.

I shared with her how I wanted it to encapsulate the essence of anything being possible and reaching for
the stars.

Because, with Cornely embroidery, the tulle becomes a blank canvas and I draw with stitch, bringing to life 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 you can dream up through embellishment.

With off the rack veils, there’s no personal touch—just repetition. With my embroidery, 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬.

The woman in my logo is inspired by some one my favourite art movements and she soars through the sky, piercing the moon 🌙 with her needle 🪡
As a woman who has set up and successfully ran her own business for over 10 years, women’s empowerment is a huge passion of mine and I wanted to echo this essence in my logo 🤍

Veil spotlight on this very special heirloom 🤍

I made this veil 3 years ago for Emily, one of three sisters. The family wanted the veil to be passed down and worn for each of the sisters weddings, creating a new family heirloom. For each sister, a new embroidery would be added to mark the occasion 🪡

I recently had the honour of having the veil back in my studio to add a very special addition - Georgia and Max’s names, their wedding date and their beloved cat Luna 🐈‍⬛

I always love seeing the photos of the guests pouring over the veil and looking at all of the thoughtful and intricate details.

Looking forward to adding more to this special veil in the future 🧵 🪡 🤍

The special story of this veil… 🪡🤍

Cassandra got in touch with me about a sentimental veil that was her grandmothers, which had been worn by her mother on her wedding day also. She wanted to add some special touches of personalisation and also give it some love as the edge was a bit worn.

We decided to cut off the edge and create a fresh new scallop edge and embroider some heartfelt words.
So the veil continues as an heirloom with some added love. The result was really beautiful and even more special to know that the original piece of fabric had been passed down generations.

I really love doing veil commissions like this one to keep the thread of family and love going through the generations 🪡 🤍

“I contacted Daisy to help with adding some embroidery to my grandmothers veil for my wedding day. Wow is all I can say about the job she did, redoing the embroidery on the scallop and adding in “forever & always” was such a perfect touch. “Daisy created an exquisite bespoke embroidered veil for my daughters May 2022 wedding. Daisy was absolutely delightful to work with. We live in the U.S. and, after months of searching, could not find anywhere to have a custom veil embroidered near us. By the time we found Daisy, time was running out. Her work was so beautiful and intricate and exactly what we’d been searching for; we knew we wanted her to be the one to design the veil. Daisy accepted our last minute order, answered mine and my daughters many questions, and was incredibly helpful, kind, and timely in her responses. My daughter wanted very specific flowers and colors for the wildflower design and Daisy made that process easy. Daisy offered her expertise and draft drawings along the way to be sure to capture the details requested.
