I made this veil 3 years ago for Emily, one of three sisters. The family wanted the veil to be passed down and worn for each of the sisters weddings, creating a new family heirloom. For each sister, a new embroidery would be added to mark the occasion 🪡
I recently had the honour of having the veil back in my studio to add a very special addition - Georgia and Max’s names, their wedding date and their beloved cat Luna 🐈⬛
I always love seeing the photos of the guests pouring over the veil and looking at all of the thoughtful and intricate details.

The special story of this veil… 🪡🤍
Cassandra got in touch with me about a sentimental veil that was her grandmothers, which had been worn by her mother on her wedding day also. She wanted to add some special touches of personalisation and also give it some love as the edge was a bit worn.
We decided to cut off the edge and create a fresh new scallop edge and embroider some heartfelt words.
So the veil continues as an heirloom with some added love. The result was really beautiful and even more special to know that the original piece of fabric had been passed down generations.
I really love doing veil commissions like this one to keep the thread of family and love going through the generations 🪡 🤍

“Daisy created an exquisite bespoke embroidered veil for my daughters May 2022 wedding. Daisy was absolutely delightful to work with. We live in the U.S. and, after months of searching, could not find anywhere to have a custom veil embroidered near us. By the time we found Daisy, time was running out. Her work was so beautiful and intricate and exactly what we’d been searching for; we knew we wanted her to be the one to design the veil. Daisy accepted our last minute order, answered mine and my daughters many questions, and was incredibly helpful, kind, and timely in her responses. My daughter wanted very specific flowers and colors for the wildflower design and Daisy made that process easy. Daisy offered her expertise and draft drawings along the way to be sure to capture the details requested. “Daisy made the most beautiful veil for my wedding in September 2020. I wanted the veil to be really sentimental, full of the people and items that mean the most to us as a couple. Most importantly the names of the parents and grandparents who are no longer with us. I wanted a bee, to represent my Mancunian roots and our darling cat Millie to be included. Daisy included all these pieces, as well as heaps of stunning flowers. My veil was such a hit on the day; everyone was very touched by the sentimentality. Daisy also included our initials and wedding date, so I now have a beautiful heirloom piece to keep forever. The best thing is we had a micro lockdown wedding, so I got to wear it again this year at our post-covid wedding!! It truly is one of the most beautiful things I own and I am so glad I invested the money in Daisy and her incredible skills”

One question I get asked a lot is - can I have some colour in my veil?
The answer is absolutely yes!
Here is an example of a bespoke monogram embroidered in colour! You can choose your colour palette and have your carefully selected favourite hues or perhaps ivory embroidery with hints of blue for your something blue 😉💙

I love receiving words and photos from brides after their wedding day - this very lovely bride had been waiting a long time to wear her veil due to the wedding being postponed since 2019! It is such a delight to see images from the day after all this time and hear how special it was to wear it 🥰 Katie chose a bespoke monogram veil with the scallop blossom edge and her two cats embroidered! Such a unique, special piece to keep forever as a keepsake🤍
