📣 Message from Mama Minotaur aka to tell you more about our beastly fundraising exploits that underpin the Minotaur Sound no 8 Halloween party happening on 31.10.25

ALL proceeds from tickets to bar takings are going directly to Trans Pride Bristol and The Sameer Project in Palestine.

The Sameer Project is a grassroots charity led by Palestinians on the ground. Money raised from the event will go straight towards food, clean water, medical aid, and essential supplies to families in Gaza and other genocide impacted areas.

So you get to have an amazing night, support your local q***r community, and make a genuine impact for families in Palestine.

📣 Closing out our DJ announcements for Minotaur Sound no 8 on 31.10.25… we are honoured to present very Special Guests Cloud & Owl✨🦉☁️

Cloud and Owl are a soundscaping DJ and production-duo based in the mystical heart of Glastonbury, UK. Blending a broad range of sounds and genres to produce magickal soundscapes. Hypnotic dreams and dark meditations, underpinned by solid foundations of rhythm. Journeying from woozy, soft lullaby sounds to hard, compulsive beats.

We first crossed paths years ago at a Bristol Terrace Party then recently at Insurgent Souls event in Glastonbury, where Mama & Papa Minotaur Catchi & Token played alongside their crew and loved it. The Beast couldn’t resist inviting these seasoned selectors into the labyrinth this Halloween, because soundscapes like these are the perfect backdrop for mythical nights like Minotaur Sound no 8.

📣Behold our fifth DJ announcement… ⚡️Catchi B2B Token ⚡️aka Mama & Papa Minotaur 🖤👹

Every family has its quirks, and ours happens to be beastly deck action. brings the ethereal oddities, Token (aka )brings the esoteric wonk.

Expect pure music mischief: progressive meets breaky, electronic oddities colliding with dancefloor gold. Their B2B chemistry is weird, wild, and impossible not to move to.

Between them they’ve lit up Rituals, Frome Music Festival, and of course countless Minotaur nights. As the yin to each other’s yang, their sounds couldn’t be more different, but together they’re the perfect storm ⚡️

⚡️Bringing the bounce to Minotaur Sound #8 it’s the absolutely brilliant ⚡️PuttyRubber ⚡️

Known for her playful fusions of broken techno, wonky breaks, dirty acid and electro, PuttyRubber’s sets are an eclectic cornucopia for the ears. A resident DJ/VJ with B Beats Collective and Hybrid Collective, also part of the Machina Bristonica VJ team, she’s a familiar face on the festival circuit with standout appearances at Glastonbury, Shambala, Rituals and Love Stock West.

It’s been a huge year for her, with her name popping up on lineups across the scene, and we can’t wait to have her back in the Beast’s lair for Halloween 🤍

⚡️Next up for Minotaur Sound #8 – the unstoppable Sarah Air ⚡️

🔨 One of Minotaur’s secret weapons, Sarah Air has lit up floors at previous Minotaur parties and at Rituals Festival this year, where she raised the roof with her signature style. Her sound blends deep underground tech house with flashes of acid and broken beats, inspired by the likes of Shanti Celeste, LFO, and Nightmares on Wax.

A seasoned selector with a razor-sharp ear for detail, Sarah channels her roots in the ’90s rave scene into sets that are pure euphoria. Known for her impeccable music taste and floor-filling energy, she has a knack for stealing the show and keeping the dancefloor heaving long into the night.

✨Second DJ Announcement for Minotaur no 8 is 📣

Jood is both a Jungle Music Producer and DJ. A true child of breakbeats, Jood’s sound is rooted in jungle, electro and all things fast, high-energy and a little bit weird. His sets slip seamlessly across genres and BPMs, always charged with ample helpings of Beast approved wonkiness.

As he puts it: “For Minotaur I’m going to tame the tempo down, but keep those bouncy breakbeats going.”

And here’s a mythic twist: when he was but a wee lad, Jood came up with the very name Minotaur Sound after being asked for a label title “worthy of legends.” That makes him not just part of the lineup, but a founding member of the Beast family. 🖤

Just Peachy brings good vibes. Growing up in Bristol on jungle and drum & bass, she’s carried that love of basslines and rhythms to mixes that span house, garage, and everything in between. Her sets are designed to keep the dance floor smiling and to make you feel, well, just peachy.

Our scene was founded by q***r, Black, and Brown people with the clear intention to uplift the marginalised. These spaces were explicitly rooted in love, liberation, and resistance. The dance music scene has always been and must continue to be centered around imagining and creating a safer, fairer, and freer world for all people.
