I started DJ’ing IN 1984, with some real basic
equipment that I acquired cheap from a friend; I then
started to DJ for all of my friends, which rapid
ly grew to me DJ’ing to all my friends. I then decided to set up as
‘Henrys Wacky P***y Disco Show’ I then slowly expanded
and trained up new and talented DJ’s to join my team which enabled my business to grow and entertain many private parties and regular contracts at local pubs and clubs in Wellingborough. In 1992 I opened up my DJ shop in Wellingborough
called HT Light and Sound and was then able
to supply other DJ’s, Pubs and Clubs with any requirements they might have, i.e. lights/speakers/leads/amps/decks etc.we also hire equipment to the general public for their various party needs. (shop closed in October 2017)
2004 my name of my business
changed to DiscoHenry, which also incorporated me with
my hobby of photography. I also created my online website for viewing photos and booking discos, this has become very popular, averaging around 1500 hits per month with 8000 individual users per month.
