*SEA Training and professional development *Safer Recruitment*
25th March* with Jane Bee Safeguarding on Zoom.

It isn’t as simple as relying on your School’s HR recruitment processes for your own staff. You are responsible for satisfying yourself that those who hire your facilities, or who come on site to work with children during the holidays, are safe to do so. It is therefore important that you understand the recruitment process your hirers and others should have used.

Whether you are a school DSL also covering enterprise, or a Commercial Manager covering the DSL role only across enterprise activities, this certified course provides relevant and detailed training which includes covering all aspects of safeguarding required for both.

Recruiting safely for those working with children is the first thing you can do to ensure a safe culture in your organisation.

This course covers the safer recruitment continuum from the advertising stage, running through interviews, references and pre-employment checks required, to the induction, training and supervision of staff, and includes what to do when things go wrong and an allegation is made against a member of staff.

This course contains an ongoing assessment and provides an accreditation in Safer Recruitment so allows you to recruit your own staff with confidence, while also ensuring you understand the process you are asking of others.
