Posted • Welcome to new partners NICAS, a small educational charity based in the UK that provides structured award schemes for climbers with the aim of providing a pathway from indoor climbing to life-long participation in climbing and mountaineering.
Our schemes offer a progressive pathway for climbers to develop technical skills, safety awareness, and accreditation through structured levels of achievement. By emphasising safety standards, skills development, and recognition of progression for our learners, and supporting coaches at our accredited centres to deliver engaging sessions, NICAS cultivates a vibrant and supportive atmosphere where climbers can thrive in their sport, while also promoting a culture of safety and fun.
NICAS is used as a learning framework at primary, secondary and special schools, colleges and universities around the UK and abroad.

SEA Scotland Advisory Meeting and Showcase - Thursday 21st November - School
These meetings provide an excellent opportunity for professional development, learning and networking in a collegial space at one of our member schools close to you.
This will be an interactive session to include networking, lunch and a tour of Strathallan School and Sports Centre.
We also invite interested schools to attend one Advisory meeting before committing to membership.
Wonderful to be in the room with so many likeminded people yesterday at The Schools' Enterprise Association Advisory Meeting, dual-use:school-first.

Join us for an engaging, action packed day looking at dual use : school first sites. To include looking at fascinating case studies, challenges, safeguarding and various perspectives, including hearing from the Senior Leadership Team and students at Alleyn's School.
The SEA run advisory meetings each term, providing opportunities to network and engage with colleagues, sharing experiences and learning whilst benefiting from expert speakers and informed discussion. This event is part of SEA membership and comes at no extra cost.

Welcome to our new charity partner Making Music UK.
Making Music is the UK’s membership organisation for leisure-time music, with around 3,850 groups representing around 228,000 music makers across the UK. We are dedicated to empowering everyone, whatever their background or experience, to come together in their community to make or present music.

About Us
We’re an independent UK organisation providing support and guidance to schools’ management teams responsible for generating additional revenue through the commercial letting of schools' facilities. We share and run workshops with industry trailblazers ensuring every one of our school members as the tools and information to ensure they are marketing, showcasing and operating expectational events in their beautiful schools.
Membership of the SEA is applied for under the name of the member school. A lead representative is assigned to each member school but additional members of staff from that school can take advantage of SEA benefits and are eligible for any special SEA Membership rates.
Membership of the SEA is via a single school-specific subscription of £55 per month (or £50 per month if an annual subscription is purchased).
