Benny is a brilliant DJ and human being!
He gave us the best party vibes for our wedding, listening 110% to what kind of music we wanted playing on our special day. The dance floor was full and we danced until we couldn't dance any more! He had the crowd up on their feet and was so easy to work with!
We cannot thank you enough for playing such a huge part in our day and would not hesitate to recommend you over and over again!

Whoever said that wedding parties on a Sunday night are nowhere near as epic as those on a Friday or Saturday clearly forgot to tell Adele, Matt and all of their guests.

Either that, or everyone in attendance pretended that they didn't have to go back to work this morning...

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. C - you and your guests played an absolute blinder. My proverbial cap is well and truly doffed to you all.

Moxhull Hall has become one of my regular haunts, and that makes me a very happy DJ. The starlit marquee is an amazing space to party, and I have to admit that I do love how my rig looks on the edge of that dance floor.

I knew that I have been a DJ for this long, but I didn't really fully appreciate that length of time until I started putting together this Blog.

Rhiannon & John's summer wedding at Shustoke Farm Barns was a joy to be part of, and you can read about it on the website.

And with that, the 2023 season comes to an end. Goodnight.

(Admit it - you heard Samuel Levitt's voice when you read that, didn't you?)

I am in the studio winding down after my final gig of 2023, and partying at Moxhull Hall was a great way to finish off the year (I'll tell you more about that particular wedding at a later date).

The last twelve months has seen me rocking dance floors at familiar haunts, as well as bringing the party to venues that until this year, I had never been to.

From Manor Houses to Tipis, Barns to Village Halls, Convention Centres to Hotels, and even getting to DJ on a boat (long story), I've had the pleasure of spending a lot of evenings with good people who enjoy a damn good time.

I'll be on the other side of the decks for New Year's Eve, drink in hand and dancing around like an absolute legend. Well, if I'm honest, while the drink part of my statement is definitely accurate, the dancing skills are somewhat questionable...

Have an awesome NYE, but before you go, the more perceptive of you may have spotted that I has a new hat. Nothing special about it - I just like it, and I wanted to share that with you. 😉🤣

Rosie & Stan's epic wedding party at the fantastic Over Barn will deffo live long in the memory.

Despite it being that horrible kind of warm that your Nan would describe as 'close', this lot danced their asses off!

With the talented Oliver Kirk Photography getting snaps of the dodgy dancing, along with the great staff at Over Barn ensuring that those in attendance remained lubricated, Rosie & Stan's big day ended with the incredible night that it deserves.

I may have even did a bit of showing off with on the fly acapellas and remixes. Well, I gotta keep 'em on their toes, haven't I? 😉

Beki Hare Photography showing off the voodoo that she does so well during Gemma & Pete's wedding at Wootton Park.

This lot were up for a damn good night, but we started the actual party a bit later than planned. The weather was far too nice to be indoors, so I set up a mini-system outside so I could play chilled Balearic tunes while guests enjoyed the sunset.

When everyone was ready to shake their thang, we went back inside and had a night that will go down in Wootton Park history!

And that - as we say - is that!

2022 has been a hell of a year, and I've been darting around the country like a headless chicken just so I can party with loads of people who know how to have a good time.

It's been a lot of hard work, but even more fun!

It's not all been button pressing, k**b twiddling and pulling the 'Dave Pearce' pose though. 2022 has also seen me be inspired on a daily basis by my baby boy. Open Heart surgeries, a gastro surgery, respiratory issues...nothing keeps that kid down, and I am damn proud to be his dad. Not everyone gets to live with their hero!

2022 will soon be in the rear view, and it's natural to not only reflect on the year that was, but also the year that will be.

I'll be back in the office next week to catch up on all the admin I've had piling up over the Christmas break.

For now though, I hope that your 2023 will be as awesome as you are.

What did you do on your birthday this year?

Well, earlier this year, I spent my birthday partying with Jas, Jack and all of their guests at The Kingscote Barn - Wedding venue.

What made it even better was that my close friend and brother from another mother was there: photographer extraordinaire, Mat James Photography!

Let me answer the question that I know is on your mind: no, he didn't get me a birthday present. But the good news is that he did buy me a bottle of Peroni on the night, so he's forgiven!

It's been about a year since I posted about my son, and I often get asked how he's doing.

Well, I thought that I'd give a bit of an update on recent happenings.

Last week, the young lad had another open heart surgery. He'll have more of those as he gets older but, for now, he is recovering well.

As you can imagine, things are moving slower in terms of replying to emails and such, but I promise that I'm still here.

I am the father of a cardiac baby, and I couldn't be prouder of how well my son has been kicking ass over the last 12 months.

He is, and forever will be, my hero.

For their wedding at Norton Fields, Lauren & Nathan wanted to start off their first dance with Sam Smith's acoustic version of Latch before kicking into Craig David's Ain't Giving Up.

Slamming one straight after the other wasn't going to work. Doing the record wind down or spinback is a bit *yawn*.

So I decided to go completely left field, and do something very different with it.

I'd say that it worked rather well, wouldn't you?

How the hell is it Spring already? I've been partying with you guys so much this year that I've not been able to keep the socials updated. Add to that the fact that Baby Smyth has spent more time in hospital than out, 2022 has been a very hectic year indeed!

But I promise that I'm still here! The only downer is that I saw a grey hair in my beard this morning. Does that mean that I'm officially old now?
