Successfully working in the music and entertainment industry since I was 12 years old. Since then I have had a career in radio, event host for a number of large events and DJ-ing at around 40 plus weddings a year.

On Saturday 20th July it was the turn of Tara & Steve to say "I DO" where we were booked to supply DJ entertainment and white LED Dance floor at Lakeside Park Hotel & Spa.

What a great night playing a mixture of hits across the years, but also so nice to play some great hits of the 60's, thank you for the booking a great couple.

After a very long weekend with two amazing days at and a wedding on Saturday (photos to come from both). We now look ahead to this Saturday 27th July, where we will be at the Sandown Carnival from 10am for free family entertainment and then off to West Wight Social Club limited from 9pm for an evening of big hits, cheesy classics and everything else in between.

Look forward to seeing you at both or one of the events, come and say hi!!

Last week we were booked to DJ for Tanya & Rich at the what an amazing little venue a long time since I played there but its just so cool and laid back.

On Saturday 29th June we were back at Lakeside Park Hotel & Spa for the exclusive wedding of Lucy and James.

only played a very very small part of the evening but WOW what a night it was, the longest, but one of the best pre- requested play list I have ever had, it was top shelf.

Our event trailer is fitted out to a high standard ready for a wide range of services such as DJ-ing, hosting your event, even live streaming, the trailer is fitted with:

60 inch TV screen (for your logos, sell the space for advertising loads of ideas)
Allen & Heath QU16 sound desk (With iPad remote mixing),
4 Handheld Mics & including stands
Mackie SRT210 10″ Powered speakers 1600w,
RCF EVOX8 Powered speakers (2) (700wRMS each)
Set up time once on site is less than 20 minutes, with pack away time the same. We can also supply our stage to the front of the trailer for any acts you may have booked for your event (as seen here)

On Saturday 8th June it was the wedding of Max & Dana at the stunning Albert Cottage - Hotel, Restaurant & Bar.

This was a great night, a bit like a staff reunion over the last few years. A amazing night with a really cool section of songs hand picked by Max & Dana (well, Dana tbh)

Thank you to the hotel staff for their hospitality the food was amazing.

Last night (Saturday1st June) we were booked to DJ for the wedding of Laura & Scott who got married at Lakeside Park Hotel & Spa.

With no real play list or requests it was a free for all and some great tunes of the 90's had the floor jumping, and we love a bit of table dancing at a wedding.... who doesn't.

Saturday night was the Captains Dinner for Newport Golf Club at Park Hotel & Spa (it was nice to be back) A great night of music playing tracks that I have not played for a long time.

Also a massive shout out to the 2 guys who are undertaking a 72 hole game to raise funds for Mountbatten Isle of Wight good luck guys and hats off to you both, supporting the amazing work that the Hospice undertake.

SoundWaves Ents supply DJ’s for any function, at any venue. SWE cover the Isle of Wight. With a comprehensive music selection covering the last five decades as well as the very latest chart tracks. During the disco we actively encourage requests from the audience and also invite you to send us a selection of your own favourite tracks at the time of booking. Our service is tailored to suit YOUR needs and the requirements of YOUR guest’s. Unlike many of our competitors we won’t blast you out with excessively loud music or play the type of music that only we want to hear. We can provide a sound and lightshow to suit any venue and any function. So whether you are booking a mobile disco for a children’s party at a village hall, or a disco for a Wedding Reception in a marquee with 300 guests, a wedding anniversary, Christmas party or even a more subtle Golden Wedding then we can provide the entertainment.
