This kind of floristry is creative, it is more difficult. Every arrangement is slightly different or unique if you prefer. Placing each flower to best show it's features. Following the curves of the stem, the face of the flower and balancing space, light and tone within the design to draw your eye through it.

This week someone complimented me on my creative vision.
I almost couldn't believe it. After years, maybe even decades, of being told I wasn't creative and that anything artistic I tried to do wasn't much good it is the strangest feeling. It is so very joyful, yet so unusual and it shouldn't be unusual. What a contradiction!

"I’m so happy I found Fran at Limewood Flowers, she was brilliant to work with in the run up to the wedding and on the day, and EVERYONE commented on how showstopping the flowers were. I went for peach and warm autumnal tones, and the bouquets were stunning, mine even featured tiny crab apples. Fran also built a loose flower arch over a garden gate and that was our hero picture moment, and the foliage-dressed beams in the barn were gorgeous. She had loads of ideas and was super creative, and loved the eco aspect, highly recommend."

That feeling when a loved one buys you flowers - imagine it a hundred fold when you wedding venue is transformed into a tropical oasis.
Garlands reminding of you of holidays abroad and tall rich green plants bringing a jungle vibe.
This is high impact florals and this incredible vision was Jen's for her couple last spring. I was one of the many freelancers fortunate enough to play a small role in bringing it to life.

Festive finally
A morning spent in the studio coaxing a little life back into festive feelings after Friday's website 'incident'.
Christmassy tunes and a whole pile of foraged, entirely natural ingredients became this. Naturally the photography took longer than creating it and now I just need to find a door to hang it on.
Apparently, my festiveness got a little over excited and this one is far too big too fit our door 🤷♀️
