Good afternoon all. TheWay Gym have a team at the National Refuge Championships just off Weston beach tomorrow. We will be representing a company called Green Energy. This annual event raises money for the Alzheimer’s Society, a charity close to my heart. For those of you that knew my godmother, Joyce Archer, beautiful inside and out, and others we know with this devastating disease (past and present) you will understand why.

It would be great to have some TWG supporters if you are around tomorrow.

Special tributes from the great grandchildren of a much loved Nan. Each of them wrote a card and we attached them to tulips as this was their Great Nan’s favourite flower. All of the tulips were different varieties and different shades of purples and pinks. They were finished with eucalyptus foliage and tied with pink and purple ribbons. Such a personal tribute.

A very special tribute for a very special Nan who was much loved and adored by her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. It was both heart breaking and heart warming reading the cards that they had written but it was clear that the memories they made together will last forever x

Beautiful Angel Wings for a very special Mum, whose favourite colour was purple so we chose purple freesia and a purple sparkly “Mum” pin to complement to flowers. It was a really special tribute and we loved designing it x

An almost 6ft casket spray for a much loved husband, father and grandfather taken before his time.

This casket spray was much more beautiful than these photos depict. It was a very natural spray with lots of soft eucalyptus foliage, freesia, delphinium, roses, stocks, tulips, muscari, alstroemeria, all in soft creams, lilacs and blues. The customer was looking for a more natural arrangement which perfectly complemented the seagrass casket.

A beautiful Butterfly tribute to a much loved grandad. I must say, this was one of my most favourite floral tributes to make and am grateful to the customer for asking for my advice and trusting me with such a perfect tribute x

Beautiful 5 metre eucalyptus foliage garland interspersed with flowers from the Bride’s bouquet, from a wedding at Kings Weston House on the 3rd of October.

Just looking through some photos from a pre-lockdown wedding and was reminded how beautiful the succulents and complementary foliage looked as buttonholes, in the maid of honour hair slide and the flower girl’s wand. The colours of the succulents perfectly complemented the colour of the bridesmaids dresses.

Looking forward to the weddings that are booked for September onwards. Let’s hope they are allowed to go ahead x

A circular wreath of flowers to celebrate the life of a much loved mum. Bright orange germini, peach roses, orange carnations and purple chrysanthemums complemented with vibrant dark green foliage. Bright and beautiful x

Some photos that we have received from the Bride and Bridegroom, Kerry and Dan, from their wedding at Orchardleigh House & Estate in Frome on the 22nd of February.

Kerry chose succulents and flowers that created a more relaxed, less structured bouquet. Working with the succulents was really fun and it was great to design something a little bit different.

The 3 tier wedding cake, decorated with cascading succulents of different shapes and sizes, was displayed on a tall wooden block (available to hire) which looked really impressive. Each of the buttonholes, ladies corsages and the wand was designed using different succulents, mixed with other flowers from Kerry's bouquet. The table decorations were beautiful copper terrariums filled with succulents and fairy lights, which looked amazing when they were all lit up.

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Northam on your marriage and we wish you both lots of good health and happiness for your future together.
