The 4th Northampton Powwow Experience weekend is set in a Family / Children Friendly beautiful 11 acre New Venue set in Duston Mill, Northampton, NN5 4EG
WHATS HAPPENING We are offering our 4th a remarkable Native American Indian style experience ( A Powwow ) showcasing traditional type drums, drummers, singers, dancers, workshops and much more over the weekend A timetable of events and ceremonies will be available nearer the time from the official website
PEOPLE We invite like minded people either within the powwow communities or with a common Native American Indian interest to help us celebrate this beautiful experience and journey weekend EVERYONE WELCOME!!
Especially other Drum teams, singers, dancers, Tipi owners and the general public

PARTICIPANTS CAN COME FOR THE WHOLE WEEKEND FOR £10 if you are helping us over the weekend by bringing a tipi, offering to dance wearing regalia, a powwow elder, workshop
Workshop providers AND Volunteers FREE

DAYS Saturday & Sunday are the Main Event days ( the Friday is for set-up )
VENUE The venue is child safe and family friendly and it has basic amenities etc
TICKETS We will offer both weekend and day tickets for guests to choose from ( prices and options will be available soon from the website )
ZERO EMMISIONS = CHEAP PUBLIC TICKETS Low carbon footprint weekend desired! If you purchase a weekend ticket in your name and arrive by bicycle or on foot your weekend admission fee will be refunded 20%
PARKING Onsite parking is advised for both weekend and day visitors
ARRIVALS The earliest entry for the Public is from 10am Saturday 11th
Crew and participants are welcome from Thursday evening 6PM to 10PM and Friday 11AM to 10PM
DEPARTURES ALL weekend people must be offsite by 12 mid day Monday 13th
FIRES We will have a a welcoming Communal Fire for jamming or just sitting round over the weekend, you are not allowed to have individual fires onsite!
NEIGHBOURS Please be courteous and understanding as the venue has houses over a 100 meters away and as such the event licences are granted on the understanding we cease amplified noise at 10pm
WEBSITE The website is in the process of being overhauled and will be ready as soon as possible, once its ready and tested the web address will be added to our advertising spaces Even though we are offering an experience weekend Powwow Etiquette is very important to us and other guests:
NO DRUGS or ALCOHOL allowed onsite
But Day visitors please bring a picnic and some folding chairs and make an interesting day of it
