Lovely wedding on a hill with fab views almost all the way around, in the 55 mile an hour winds. We did it and got all our meats barbecued in time, but had a few moments where we thought the catering tent was going to take off, but good old Hatch Marquees have their marquees well hooked into the ground.

My private page Claire Wallace has been hacked by a chap in America saying I am selling finance. I have been advised to cancel my page. Hopefully this one will stay in place. Not that I have used it for a while.
Best wishes to all my followers and all the brides we have catered for. We completed a good season of weddings this year and have collected lots of photos to post when time allows.

Pheasant Terrine which we made for a wedding last weekend up on the moor, using their own pheasant with our vegan/veggie starter as an alternative.
2 small dishes of canapes for the vegans and the gluten frees. Always too busy to photograph the mains, but yet another one of our sweets being used as the cake, then served up with strawberry coulis, after their speeches. Stunning views from a very private spot.

Our Story

We are a professional team cooking and managing mainly large events in the southerly part of the south west of England. Specialising in weddings, garden parties and corporate events. We hand make every part of our menus from fresh seasonal produce, which has often been grown on our farm beside the Salcombe / Kingsbridge Estuary. We produce for the formal fine dining crowd enjoying the attention to detail, but also like the fun of the less formal rustic sharing type menus. Lastly, following the more resent trends of barbecued food, we designed our own unique equipment, and love to cook meat fish and vegetables over wood fire, in front of the guests, before they are seated. Our pleasure is to produce sumptuous dishes, delivered with efficiency, to delight our clients and their guests.
