Here is my standard kit for filming funerals. I normally setup at the back of the church so that I am a respectful distance from the family.

I use two cameras and audio recorder to at least two wireless microphones. One video camera is on a tall stand (not extended in the photo) so that it can see over a standing congregation. Whilst the second video camera is used for panning, zooming etc.

The edit is completed within 24 hours. Live streaming is available (depending on location) as well as an edited version.

The edit always begins and ends with what is on the Order of Service; images, text, and fonts.

It is always an honour to help celebrate the life of a loved one and to bring comfort to those not able to attend in person.

Last week I photographed and filmed in Portcullis House and the House of Commons for the National Youth Agency. Their parliamentary events were part of Youth Work Week Summit 2023 which aims to put young people at the heart of decision making.

Many thanks to Reading Phoenix Choir for asking me to photograph their rehearsal and concert at Douai Abbey, Upper Woolhampton on Saturday 21st of October, 2023.

The acoustics were absolutely amazing and therefore the choir sounded beautiful. Douai Abbey looked pretty good in photographs too!

It is lovely to undertake a small part in showing the history of Reading Football Club, as it celebrates its 150 year anniversary. Collected: One Hundred and Fifty Years of Reading FC is an exhibition being held at Reading Museum until 13th of August.

I had such fun making this video! The band made me very welcome, they were such a laugh, UK Live Sound were excellent and I hope it all resulted in a pretty good music video (my first). Fingers crossed for some live music soon!
