This week we met with a bride for 🙌. Last autumn ventured here to decorate the space for a bride that loved hydrangeas 💚💚. If you have not been, it’s an absolute must. For lunch, for latte, for the spa. Their rooms are sooooooo beautiful. I will one day take my children there for a treat, if they ever stop arguing 🫣🤣. This photo was the end of the aisle. The bride did not want to walk down seeing herself. Adorable. Such a lovely, happy wedding 💚. Have a lovely Sunday ###

Kirstie and I formed a few years ago from a friendship and a passion for flowers. Along the way we have become foam free 💚🙌, inspired by briliant advocates….. and to name a few. This wedding was so beautiful. The bride walked down a path in her parents woodland to her friend singing Elvis ❤️❤️❤️. I popped out of the marquee to wave as she walked by with her father. Big smiles and waves came back at me🥰. 180 guests, trees on the tables, tapered candles, bold colours. Just joyous 💚

mandap. The more foam free we do, the more we realise this is the right way to do flowers. Even mandats. The wedding last weekend had several tents. One was just for the ceremony. But in true Hindu style, you can simplypop in and out of the ceremony, go for a cup of tea, or some fresh air. Isn’t that just wonderful 💚. We were working in the “big tent”, but could hear the roaring laughter and singing. Just beautiful. There are so many wonderful stories to this wedding (must post more about it plus photos, less I forget🫣). I absolutely love Hindu weddings 💚💚 xx

Hydrangeas….. I adore them, but sometimes they test every bit of you, as they did this weekend. The tall candelabras had to be made in the last 2 hours, as the marquee was so warm, the little tinkers were starting to wilt. 425 guests for this wedding, so tables galore to decorate….plus a table for uninvited guests ❤️❤️ (in case you wanted to go/take another family member etc). How truly wonderful is that. Whilst the traditions of a Hindu wedding were underway just outside the marquee, those of us inside just stopped and absorbed the moment. The colours were incredible….the outfits, the jewellery, to the paint on the brides face. Every person at this wedding was invited to eat…..including us. As the chef said “I am here to feed everyone”. A joyful wedding to be part of, thank you to our lovely bride for asking us, and to for looking after us 💚. PS the hydrangeas were perfect the next day too 🙌

Hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas 💚. This was the Christmas wedding we did as . It was divine. Yes, Covid scuppered the guest list and the beautiful table plan, but they rocked the night away. Last year they got married on the exact date they had the wedding party this year. with heaps of plants for the guests to take home. Candles galore, Christmas foliage, snowy trees and a little twinkle 💚 ###

Workshops done for 2021 💚. This week it was garlands and table designs at Swinton Estate, and again more giggles and creative wonder. Not sure they needed me though 😳, even the complete novices were utterly brilliant 🙌💚. Their homes will look and smell amazing, and it is such a joy to see familiar faces, and meet new ones ###

Wreath workshops done🙌. We’ve had a wonderful time and heaps of amazing wreaths made. Ladies and Gents, I’m proud of you. We’ve had great fun. Yes, I have been blunt....
“You need to know when to stop”
“It is a little square”
“Less is more”
“More is more”
But such fun. Swinton Estate are booked out already for two days next year, so do book asap for Swinton. Always a treat. Always a delight to teach you all Xx

Today, I spoke to someone who was at this party, which made me smile. Such a wonderful, beautiful party. White hydrangeas, enmasse. Pre “no foam” times too, so a challenge next time I make one 😍
