She almost didn’t book a maternity session—she wasn’t feeling her best and wasn’t sure it was for her. But now?She’s so glad she did! We even tried to get her cat involved, but he had other plans (classic cat behavior). Still, I managed to catch a sneaky little shot of him in the mirror 😏

I’ve been lucky enough to photograph lots of lovely pups recently. Whether they’re bounding around with excitement or curling up beside you, dogs bring so much love and energy to a session. Some of the best photos happen when they’re just being themselves because let’s face it - dogs don’t do posing!

If you’re planning to bring your dog along, here are a few tips:

🐕 Bring their favourite toy or a few treats to keep them happy and engaged

🐾 Let them have a good run around beforehand to burn off some energy so they’re nice and calm

💡 Don’t worry about getting them to behave perfectly—the natural, candid moments often make the best photos
