A Twilight wedding, firstly their highlights in photos...

As the sunshine dipped on my way to this wedding, I realised that it was my first twilight wedding and venue, and what a beautiful place it was. I was met by friendly folks and plush surroundings in the boutique style hotel of The Busby.

Instant editorial vibes came through with this wedding with such chic surroundings and a breathtakingly stunning bride! Such fun and joy came throughout the day as their vows were filled with love and laughter and sealed with a kiss with a romantic dip to complete their ceremony.

In the backdrop of the soft twilight, the sparkly balcony provided the magical glow and reflected the cherished moments and the embrace of loved ones, as my couple began their journey in their beautiful embrace of their twilight wedding. Congratulations once again to you both! Xx

What a beautiful day for a Wednesday wedding in Edinburgh's old town! At the City Chambers and dotting around amongst the tourists at the Royal Mile and St Andrew's Square. The happy couple, THAT stunning dress 😍 and the Rolls Royce, and a loving close family made the day even more magical.

The Edinburgh Grand was the perfect venue for canopies and the views from the penthouse suite balcony were absolutely breathtaking. Thanks to Sam and the team for making that happen! Much love to you both R&A and have an amazing time tonight! Xx

The sun shined brilliantly over Edinburgh's old Town for Hannah & Matt's wedding at St Giles Cathedral and the Signet Library on Saturday. Stunning Gothic architecture and towering spires this venue has to be my grandest by far! It was bathed in beautiful natural light that set the scenes for such a magical backdrop for their emotional and heartfelt ceremony. The elegance of the Signet Library was matched by the professionalism and courtesy of its staff and I can't thank Susie and her team enough for the preparation assistance, letting me wander around and maintaining such opulent surroundings for their day.

As the sun continued to warm the day it created such a calm for their couples photo session and a truly unforgettable wedding day for them both. Congratulations once again Hannah & Matt! Tx

What an amazing day for Kat & Liam yesterday for their beautiful wedding!

From start to finish this wedding was so much fun! The sun was shining and everyone had a great time. It was great to also meet Lee their videographer for the first time and I look forward to working with him again on many wedding adventures!

Thanks to all the staff and team that brought this wonderful day together. The food was scrumptious as well as the weather, loving that dappled light on them both as we made some beautiful photos together!

Another fantastic wedding on Saturday! A wonderful prep time in Dunbar and then towards our ceremony and the rest of the celebrations at West Barns Bowling Club. Thanks to them for all of their help and the yummy food by Helena and her team! 🩷

A special thanks goes to everyone and especially for Robert & Cheryl for creating some beautiful memories, even with the haar we had a good laugh round the village, bridge and the Biel Burn. What an amazing day! 🩷📸🖤

Such a beautiful and wonderful day on Saturday! B&C enjoyed their day from start to finish! A new venue for me but made all the smoothness of the day and help by Alison and her team! What a time to be alive! 😀
Being invited to the Pit was an exhilarating experience photographing Underworld at Edinburgh's Usher Hall. With their hypnotic rhythm and progressive sound Kyle and Rick brought the atmospheric sounds of theatre, music and light to their show! 💛

And thanks to Kyle, being the ever dynamic showman, with the "well here I am, take the shot!" poses and glowing and bringing in the light that night! What a buzz! 🖤📸🖤

Hello all, Hope you are all doing well.

My name is Joseph and earlier this year I completed my degree in Documentary Photography with a graduating work about a passionate microlight community based in East Lothian.

I am delighted to invite you all to the exhibition I will be hosting from the 26th to the 30th of September at West Barns Art In Dunbar EH42 1UD.

I will also be selling a book of the work.

Project Statement:
Downwind 29 is a photographic series based around East of Scotland Microlights. The project aims to capture the thrill and enjoyment this community of people gets from flying, as well as to show the parts of the hobby that are often overlooked, such as the pre-flight checks, learner flyers, maintenance of the airfield and aircraft, and the cup of tea at the end of a flight.

What a wonderful day it was on Saturday!

Alexis and Ryan's beautiful day was full of love, romantic views, and lots of great family moments. It was brilliant to photograph such a wonderful day at Atholl Palace Hotel & Lodges Pitlochry and show what a great time everyone had! Working alongside Colin, it was great to meet Steve and Cheryl from Orchard Films from Aberdeen and all of the suppliers who were such lovely folks, it was a pleasure to work with you all!
