Track Party is changing and the event as you know will no longer run 🫣🤗
In 2013 we put on the very first version of what now is a Track Party
The track looks simple and bare now, but at the time it was the start of a completely revolutionary idea.
By 2016 we started our bigger layouts at the Wickham Community Centre , the picture is of our very first layout on a grander scale.
Fast forward to December 2024 and here we are at the last Track Party.
We've enjoyed building some truly unique and epic tracks, creating a unique environment for children to play in.
Falling numbers, higher costs and logistic changes have meant that we cannot keep running this event in its current format
We're not going anywhere and we may return. Moving forward however , we must continue to be innovative and pioneering in the world of train entertainment.
So please do watch this space

This session will have reduced numbers and may be more suitable for SEN families or any child who would benefit from a slightly quieter, more relaxed playtime. 🌟

Our Story
Welcome to Track Party - home to toy trains, cars and dinosaurs!! Here at Track Party, we provide a unique and unforgettable experience for you and your family with our #epicplaytime events. We don’t just build you any train track... we build an epic train track, children of all ages come and play and learn and have fun. We build you the biggest toy train track in the world, here in Hampshire!!
How it works - quite simply really.. we build - you play! We run monthly events (currently in Wickham Community Centre) with one (or two) hour sessions available to buy. We provide hundreds of toy trains, carriages, cars and dinosaurs to choose from. Only attending children require a ticket, which means adults get to have fun for free!! We also offer light refreshments and of course, we have trains to purchase! There’s free parking on site too.
We believe children learn through play, and what a better way to learn than to play with hundreds of trains, tracks and toys! Playing with trains will spark your child’s creativity and imagination. It will develop child’s gross and fine motor skills - great way to encourage your baby to crawl and walk in order to play with toys, to push, grip and roll that train down the track. Coming to one of our events will also give your child an opportunity to engage in pretend play and reenact and simulate real life using trains. We have seen children making new friends by sharing and playing together.
We often leave a space for you and your child to build some track together - a great way to engage with your little one . Building and designing train track can teach your child valuable problem solving skills whilst having fun. Maybe Thomas is a ‘really useful engine’ after all.
