My darling mum Anna, Anna Christine Sharpe slipped away peacefully at 7am this morning. She was 88.
I’m heartbroken to lose her but relieved she is now at peace. She was a good old girl. I shall love you forever Mummy 💔

We've started to build a Dark Sky Discovery Hub at Wimbleball, thanks to generous funding from Exmoor NP, Hinkley Tourism Action Partnership and our supporters.

The new hub is being built on grassland near the Activity Centre and will have low seating designed to let you lean back and experience views out over the lake and the starry skies above. Construction work is due to finish this autumn.

Nice little event catered for last night! Trying out an new tripod and grill for a fire pit. Tomahawk steaks, Tiger prawns, Scallops, salads, spuds and various dips and homemade Mayo. Followed by Pineapple Ceviche with red chilli, mint, lime juice and maple syrup. Everyone very happy ❤️

Catering for a lovely Pilates retreat this wk end in Knowle, Braunton, Nth Devon.
I’ve had a month off after finishing a very busy shoot season since last October.

I’m back cooking at my winter job now, here’s a few pics! Cooked some pheasant goujons for a lunch today that came from Gatcombe Park a couple of days ago where Princess Anne had been ‘picking up’!
Last two pics were at a huge great manor house where I cooked dinner tonight, really fabulous kitchen, far too busy and hot to take more pics 😝

Chorizo Risotto, my dinner tonight.
Made with locally made Chorizo, my own grown onions, garlic, pepper, peas and parsley. Home made chicken stock too, made from the carcasses from Dads birthday dinner, Coronation Chicken on Sunday. I simply love this time of year when most of the food you eat comes from your garden, it really makes life worth living ❤️

My first dinner with my runner beans 😋 and the second picking of sweet peas. They have been slow at taking off so I am chuffed that they are now coming. Just a few of the pleasures to be had at Touts Station Garden.

Really super 80th birthday Lunch for a really super special lady at an amazing location, Gogwell House
Absolutely sublime weather and views and a pool to die for, so tempted to take a quick dip whilst the guests were enjoying their lunch!!
Simple crab salad, Parma ham and melon, home baked garlic and Rosemary focaccia bread. Followed by Exmoor Rack of Lamb with baby carrots, new potatoes and tender stem broccoli. And for pud, Nigella Lawson’s Molten Chocolate Babycakes with Raspberry Coulis.
Fabulous House for Special occasions and events, highly recommend!

Just the nicest wedding to have catered for. For the super lovely Matt and Paul ❤️It all came together quite smoothly after a traumatic, worrying and hassled day the day before with lots of changing of goal posts from the venue management 😭😵‍💫🤬
With the help of my fabulous team we delivered an evening of super food for this lovely couple, their families and guests. 96 for main meal and 120 for evening food! Canapés to start! Here’s a few pics, fabulous sunset to boot, what a beaut ❤️
Thanks to all my team, we smashed it!

Big wedding to cater for tomorrow! Just packing the car to have a day of prep at the venue! The Ultimate Outdoor Adventure Park, Abbotsham, Bideford,Devon!
Love these carrots! And beautiful first big poppy to bloom in my garden, and all of the in between pics too! There will be me and a team of 7 helpers, please just let’s have NO more rain!

Lovely dinner party catered for last Saturday. Moules Mariniere, and Goats cheese soufflés for the starters. My lovely waitress whisked the mussels away before I could get a pic! Followed by Exmoor Rack of Lamb and Sea Bass fillets with Samphire, Puy Lentils and a Salsa Verde. Puds were Saffron poached pears with crème fraiche and Biscotti and Crème Brûlée with poached berries and a basil syrup!Sorry not posted earlier but it’s been a manic week with working, looking after the poor old parents, now both with dementia🥲 and prep for a wedding this weekend! Oh and the car broke down so had to organise having that fixed!
My lovely big step sis Emma Scott-Bell has been staying with the parents for a few days so her help was most welcome!
Now onto this Saturdays wedding!! Pics to follow!
