Event

What a great turnout for our event today fully booked. Thank you to everyone who has turned up today.
We are taking bookings for the 28th, and they are filling up fast!

We will be changing the menu slightly, adding cream teas, and adding a few more earlier time slots into the day.
Tickets are £10 each, and this includes 20 minutes handling and lunch or cream tea after.

Tom's second party for the day was for Arlo's 7th birthday in Warlingham. Arlo and his friends had a great time with our animals. Arlo especially loves the snakes!

Today Tom's first visit was in East Grinsted for Tess.
Tess celebrated her 7th birthday with 14 of her friends. Everyone was so lovely and calm throughout their experience.

This afternoon the animals visited Quentin to celebrate his 5th birthday.
The children and adults were great with the animals, and some people conquered their fears enough to say hello to the snakes!
Quentin knows lots about snakes and identified Tangie the cornsnake straight away.

Only a few days to go before our first event with the Pelham Buckle in Crawley.
We are running an event where you will have 20 minutes with our team and animals. You will get to look, stroke, and hold while learning all about them.
Afterwards, you will go into the restaurant area where you will wash up and get some yummy lunch.
We are offering set time slots throughout the day, so make sure you get yours.

Live Stream

Last night, Tom worked with SamHam on a Twitch live stream. The challenge was to hold an animal and not move your hands!
The guys were great to work with, super respectful of the animals, and did really well.

Tom's Talking Reptiles /parties/birthdays/school talks/events will be hosting 2 event days at the Pelham Buckle Pub in Ifield Crawley. Tickets will include 20 minutes, learning, seeing, touching, and holding some of our amazing animals. Followed by lunch.
Dates 14th and 28th August
Set time slots and limited spaces available.

Bluebell Railway 🚃

What fun we've had these past 2 days! It's been a very busy week, but Bluebell Railway is definitely a highlight of it! Always a fun event due to all the old steam trains which visit us! 🚈 Thank you to everyone who came down and saw all the reptiles and mini beasts!

Party number 2 and Tricia and the animals were celebrating with Isla, her friends and family.
Everyone was so good with the animals handling them gently and giving Hermanda the tortoise some treats.
Isla helped out by showing how good Lily the crested gecko is at jumping!

This morning we were with Esme and her friends and family.
The children were great with the animals and asked some good questions.
Esme helped out by taking crikey the cornsnake round to meet everyone.
Rosie the boa had cuddles with everyone.

This afternoon, Tom headed to Hackney London for a video shoot with the artist Khazali. What a great shoot, and everyone was in love with Puzzle, we can't wait to see how it turns out!

This was a return visit for us and it was lovely seeing everyone.

In 2013, Tom, Barry, and Maz had a dream. We wanted to educate and capture amazing memories for people of all ages with our wonderful pets, and so was born Tom's Talking Reptiles. On the 6th of May 2013, we ran our first event to see how people would react to seeing animals like ours. Amazingly, we were very popular. The last 11 years have been unbelievable, and we have run so many experiences in schools, birthday parties, care homes, youth groups, and events. We have also had our Madam Mimm except the BAFTA award on behalf of Sir David Attenborough and Planet Earth 2, worked alongside him too , a book signing event. We have worked with amazing music artists like Olly Alexander and various rappers. We have also worked in lots of photo and fashion shoots. This has been an amazing journey, and we can't wait to see what else our little business has in store for us. Our teams have been amazing over the years, helping our business grow and run as smoothly as it does. REHOMING CHECK OUT THIS FACE!! 🥰 This afternoon, we took in this beautiful girl. She is an African Fattail Gecko around 7 years old. Fattail geckos in our opinion are one of the sweetest, and male one of the best pet reptiles you can get. They are slightly smaller than the Leopard Gecko. They are generally super tame, and we find them to be a lot slower. Unfortunately they are hard to find in the reptile pet world and are often forgotten about.
