Pretty, spring posy inspiration today from the studio after a creative day with .taylor_photo last spring.

I am in the midst of a studio deep clean at the moment, wondering how I ever accumulated so many vases. But, enjoying a little revamp and getting it ready for some workshop based events over the summer, details coming next week.

If you want to be too of the list then send me a DM and I’ll make sure to send you the information.

No weddings for us this weekend so all aboard to the Caernarfon Food Festival on Saturday. Toot, toot.

A little lunchtime viewing… August feels for Jess and Ryan and their elegant wedding at Iscoyd Park. Light wild flower florals - cosmos (the large daisy looking flowers) were one of Jess’s favourite and stole the show with ammi, from our favourite .

Loving the hair bow as post veil styling for the party.

I think this wedding sums up something timeless and elegant but with a few contemporary touches.

Amazing golden hour images from . Thank you for sharing Jess and Ryan.

Enjoy your Thursday. Xx

Hello February! The new month is accompanied by sunshine and a freshness of mind. I feel like I have been in hibernation over the last 6 weeks or so. We wrapped up the 2023 wedding season with some modern, Christmassy and elegant weddings in that order. And, well then I went on holiday and barely opened my laptop.

So now I am back, I’ll be sharing some of the weddings we worked on last year and lots of planning for the year ahead. But for now I am enjoying seaside views in Abersoch.

An embellished fireplace at Garthmyl Hall. The cafe au lait dahlias did better this year on the allotment. I have also learnt to be braver with the taller elements which make it impactful. Combined with the wild clematis which is a foraging dream, albeit that it does make me quite serceptable to sneezing.

I was flowering for friends at the weekend and very much enjoyed being a guest, and dancing my socks off. It’s a bit of a planning day today, catching up at home and emails before a few days leave this week for some much needed R and R.

We have been working on plans for next year and the wedding diary. After a busy few years I have decided not to take on as many weddings to provide more ‘life’ balance especially in this midst of summer.

This gives more time to spend with our couples and the design elements of their day and also the scope to travel further afield. We are longing to head back to Como and Tuscany and anywhere in France 🇫🇷 would be a dream.

If you are looking for romantic and seasonal flowers do reach out.

These chrysanthemum’s are the bomb. I wish I had bought more of them to create this crescent at Iscoyd Park a few weeks back.

Another few busy weeks have rolled by and this week I am taking time this week to work out our diary for the next two months and then check on wedding availability and the business direction for next year. Exciting times.

It was May and sunny at the Giraffe Shed. Loads of British blooms and a stylish bride.

Lottie and Felix’s day was pretty special. We focused on using mainly British bloom, with just a few peonies and snapdragons from Holland. Felix’s Dad brought loads of foraged cow parsley and other flowers for Felix’s buttonhole. I love that kind of personal touch.

We made the most of the incredible picture window in soft pastels and then used vases to line the aisle which were used on the tables later.

Lottie wore an amazing scalloped linen suit, with Pearl bag for the legal bit and midi dress for the celebration. So many thoughtful and stylish touches.

We are massively behind with sharing some of the weddings we have worked on this year.

It was late July and another very wet Saturday. The weather didn’t dampen their spirits and the celebration in the garden went ahead as planned with a few umbrellas.

Muted hues of late summer flowers; zinnias, dahlias and smokebush. One of my favourite bouquets of the year. Thanks for trusting us Bridget.

It has been a dream to work at The Palm House, Sefton Park for years and it didn’t disappoint.

Huge congratulations to Jas and Chris who travelled from Melbourne for their big day.

A lesson to take from this wedding is don’t overcomplicate things, at such a beautiful place less is often more.

The flowers were kept simple with toffee, quicksand and caffe latte rose. With pops of dried grasses, palm leaves foliage and carnations and dahlias.

Amy at Ink & Adler brought some stunning Moroccan lanterns and brass vases and the look was complete.

This photo was too good not to share on the grid. It’s been a hot minute since we posted and August has flown by.

Two beautiful weddings this weekend a heavy workshop day today. Tomorrow we are off to Whitchurch and Sunday Aughton.

We have so many pictures to share from this wedding season and have had so much kind and and positive feedback. As we move into September, there is a little ease.

Happy Bank Holiday Weekend.
