Also big love to those that joined me yesterday for my Speed Garage Twitch stream, I had a blast.
I'm back this evening with the Global Funk Fam's Thursday Freestyle with these legends DJ Clairvo / DJ Little Fever / The Hong Kong Ping Pong Club / Towlie DJ. I'm doing a 2hr set this evening from 7pm, as DJ Candyman is having an evening off.
Then back tomorrow for a Midday-3pm DnB rinse out.

It must be that time of year I do a bunch of daytime streams that are themed around the music that I cut my teeth on as a DJ and love deep down.

Weds 18/12 - Midday-3pm - Speed Garage, with some 2Step and UK Garage in the mix.
Thurs 19/12 - 7pm-9pm - Thursday Freestyle w/ Global Funk Fam
Fri 20/12 - Midday-3pm - Drum n Bass / Jungle / Jump Up (the good stuff from the 90s ;) )
Sun 22/12 - Midday-3pm - BBS - Beat Up Christmas - The Big Beat Celebration featuring a guest mix from DJ Chix
Mon 23/12 - Midday-3pm - 7 Inches of Delight, my self reflective look at some of the good (and bad) music I have in my 7" collection. A chance to chat s**t and listen to some great and dubious music.

Big Beat Sundays presents the festive Big Beat celebration of the year with ‘Beat Up Christmas’, a Twitch raid train consisting of DJs from the BBS Facebook Group stepping up to the decks and streaming their takes on the Big Beat Era. Starting at 9am (GMT) on Sunday December 22nd and running all day and all night into the early hours of Monday morning.
DJs from around the globe are getting involved and getting ready to funk your socks off with the beats that are BIG!
Expect to hear tunes you know, tunes you don’t, leftfield takes on classic tunes, remixes to make you sit up and take note and just a bunch of awesome music from start to finish.

Musically the raid is going to cover the following broad areas of what you might expect to hear at a 'Big Beat' night - but ultimately if it feels right and fits the vibe we'll play it as part of the set:

⁃ Big Beat and Breakbeat
⁃ Cut’n’Paste masterpieces
⁃ Remixes, Bootlegs and ‘White labels’
⁃ Rave and Acid inspired dance floor anthems
⁃ Chunky, Funky, hands in the air house
⁃ Classic Jump Up Drum’n’Bass
⁃ The unexpected that fits the Big Beat vibe.

Each DJ brings their own vibe and take on Big Beat, there are no play books, no set lists… Anything goes.

The day will take the shape of a 'Raid Train' where the DJ before will raid the next DJ and the audience are automatically transported to the next set. Join at anytime and be transported on a musical journey throughout the day.
Ahead of the day you can also go to each DJ's Twitch page and give them a follow to make sure you don't miss out on anything.

Track 4 from my Party Weapons series is out now.

Weapon A Brings you a pounding dancefloor Breaks / 4x4 track designed for the club, where people just want to lose themselves and just go for it.
Built around the classic Apache loop, additional elements are drawn from the Mighty Dub Katz and the end result should give you a little smile and a feeling of needing to pump ya fists to the beat.

This one also comes with 90s Jump Up DnB inspired VIP for added variety.

Tomorrow's Thursday Freestyle with the Global Funk Fam is looking mighty fine!
