The current fair locations include Stafford, Leeds, Exeter, Lyndhurst, Solihull, Shoreham By Sea, , Holt, Market Harborough, Gloucester, Broxburn, Alderley Edge and Tattershall, Lincs. They are all 100% dolls house and miniature items in mainly 1:12th and 1:24th scale items. Fairs will also have some demonstration tables, manned by miniature makers, for the customers to enjoy.

I had a chance to talk to the management at Pudsey Civic Hall on Sunday, and it turns out that there are now no plans from the Council for the Civic Hall to close for refurbishment in 2026. This now causes us a big problem as my MGM Fairs dates and Miniature Fairs dates, had taken this into account when sorting our 2026 dates.. So, it's back to the drawing board for us, although we have very little "wiggle-room" at the moment.

I have spent some of this morning correcting my flyers on fair date changes, etc, so maybe its a good time to remind everyone that our second Exeter Show has been moved to Sunday 20 July 2025 and our second Stafford Show in September has been cancelled for this year. Also, this will be the penultimate show for Leeds, as we believe they will close this venue for refurbishment in 2026, hence our New show in Sheffield in July.

I seriously can't believe how much rubbish I have had to clear off my page today. From football and sports, to hotels and sweet posts, plus a ton of other unrelated items about other craft or antique fairs, hair products and even posts from the BBC and Netflix. I have finally managed to par it down to only miniature posts, but to be honest, I don't think I have got them all.

Pan Miniatures was unable to join us last Sunday in Lyndhurst due to illness, so we wish Annette and Paul all the very best for a speedy recovery, and we look forward to seeing them at the next one in October.

Unfortunately Karen Kirby is unable to attend the show in Lyndhurst on Sunday, and we shall be doing a little boxing-and-coxing with the tables, as we re-organise the layout a bit. However, Karen is now looking forward to coming back to this show in October more than ever!

Well it’s all systems go, for our Rugby Show tomorrow at the Dunchurch Village Hall, Dunchurch, Rugby. We have some fabulous traders attending with loads of interesting miniatures to look at and buy. Fair opens at 10.30am and light refreshments will be available again from Rebecca. We look forward to saying hi.

Big News Breaking today - the next EXETER Dolls House Fair has moved to Sunday 20 July 2025. I have just emailed all the traders already booked, to alert them of the date change, and I have changed my website, booking forms etc plus sent my revised advert to Andy Hopwood at Miniatura for their Spring Brochure. The date change will also be corrected in the next issue of the Dolls House Magazine. Thankfully I have enough time to get the new date out to everyone. Sorry for any inconvenience on the change, but if in doubt, double check back with me.

We had another super show at Exeter yesterday, with a queue back to the door, and confusion over which line to be in for either admission or coffee ..... lessons learnt on that, and we have already got a plan in place to help the organised chaos next June. Our three new traders seemed to do well and a couple have already booked for the next show. In fact the next show is 99.9% full already so again, another lively show coming up in the summer.

It is certainly helpful being obsessed with the British weather, as tomorrow may be cold and cloudy, but nothing as extreme as recent cyclones, high winds, floods or snow being predicted for the Exeter Dolls House Show on tomorrow in the Conference Centre at Westpoint, Clyst St. Mary, Exeter, EX5 1DJ. We shall be opening the doors a little early to allow the early birds in out of the weather and we have another very full fair. Several people have recently pointed out to me that our first Leeds Show in Pudsey falls on Mother's Day. They are quite right in thinking that this is a double edged situation, so I would now urge all Mother's to advise their families that if they could bring them to the show, it would be huge, massive, wonderful gift for Mother's Day .... so get in quick now with the suggestions!

We had better weather at Stafford than expected, with all snow, ice and frost disappearing very early on Sunday morning. It ended up cold but bright and we therefore send a Big Thank You to all the customers attending the show and braving what could have been uncertain weather conditions. Our best wishes still go out to people in the north - some are still snow bound !

It was a delight to see the Cheltenham Dolls House Club and the Gloucester Mini's at our recent show in Gloucester on the 12 May. The Cheltenham Club were also running flower workshops at the fair and were raising monies for the Parkinson's UK Charity. All sales from their table also went to the charity and I know some lucky customers got some lovely bargins being donated by club members.

We are again opening the large blue foyer doors at Westpoint about an hour early to allow everyone to come in out of whatever weather we are blessed with on Sunday. No matter how bright, it will still be cold so Rebecca will have our cafe area up and running from 9.30am. We shall be sharing the doors with traders setting up for an Expo in the Arena starting on the Monday, so keep a sharp eye out for the signage. In the meantime, do enjoy this short video of Hodges Haberdashery Stand at our last Stafford Show - they will be bringing this extensive range with them on Sunday.

Having taken over shows from both Wendy Hobday and Doreen Vincent, our current fair locations include Exeter, Stafford, Leeds, Weston Super Mare, Tattershall, Holt, Porthcawl, Lyndhurst, Solihull and Gloucester.
