I have a few weeks until our next show in Stafford on the 1st September, but I am still busy with making items for Merry Gourmet, and getting the documentation ready for my 2025 shows. All my shows have now been confirmed, including our new one in Sheffield, and I have added them to our website listings and into our on-line bookings system, so we can take table bookings. A hard copy of our 2025 Dates will be available shortly.

We had many delighted customers at the new Leyland Dollshouse Show yesterday. Pleased with the new fair in the north west and all the lovely quality traders attending. I notice many little parcels leaving the show to go to new homes. A super first fair, so we are delighted to be returning next year.

I know that this work is necessary, but I have spent ALL DAY, adding my Fairs into digital directories so that visitors can find us. Albeit that we are in different parts of the country at different times. After I do the main 9 directories, with the next 6 months of shows, I am then following that up with the Whats On in the specific areas. I shall follow that by starting my 2025 Fairs. I can see why big companies actually pay people to do this stuff, especially with the decline of the magazines and printed matter. Long Live the World Wide Web, I am off to have a melt-down.

We had a super day yesterday at the Exeter Show, there were ALOT of new customers attending for the first time and although we didn't reach the high attendance of the February Show, it was crowded, busy and people where having fun. Houses and full bags crammed with miniatures were leaving the show. I do have some pictures, but they were taken on a phone, so will get those up as soon as I can. Good Bless good technology.

Just a quick reminder to all customers who buy my tickets, whether from me, Eventbrite or Alltickets, they are valid for a full year from the date of purchase, so if you didn't get a chance to use the one you bought earlier - bring it along to the next show and we will honor it. I hope to drop quick reminders to all customers who bought tickets back in 2023 - after all no one likes to miss out, especially on a good thing!

Anyone attending the York Show this coming weekend, I hope you have a great time. I shall be reorganising my office slightly and getting some "housekeeping"done for my next few fairs. Our Exeter Fair is completely full, with a waiting list, and so is my Leyland, Lyndhurst, and West Midlands Shows. I have decided to remove my "payment in full" for Stafford and Leeds Show, so that just a small deposit of £10.00 per table, will now be needed, with the balance payable on the day. if you are interested in attending, do get in touch and I can tell you more.

It was a delight to see the Cheltenham Dolls House Club and the Gloucester Mini's at our recent show in Gloucester on the 12 May. The Cheltenham Club were also running flower workshops at the fair and were raising monies for the Parkinson's UK Charity. All sales from their table also went to the charity and I know some lucky customers got some lovely bargins being donated by club members.

Just a quick word to all out there about the Tickets to our MGM Dolls House Shows. The first thing is that we do sell them from our own website, and you pay exactly what you would pay on the door at the shows. Second thing is that we are registered with several Ticket Services, particularly Eventbrite and AllEvents and these services also charge you a fee for that service - so you end up paying a little more. IN ALL CASES, the tickets are valid for a full year, irrespective of which fair is noted on the ticket, or when it is issued. Also, if the service says no more tickets available - ignore it as you can ALWAYS Pay on the Door, and we have contactless payment as well, as we try and make it as easy as possible. I may be travelling to a show when you buy a late ticket, but again, just let us know when you get to the show and we will sort it. Gail

Heard yesterday from Christine Thompson of Silhouette Creations that she will be unable to make the Leeds Show on Sunday, due to on-going problems with her eyes. We wish her well and look forward to seeing her at the next one.

17/04/2024

I am getting emails asking if the Dolls House Show is still on for SUNDAY 21 April 2024 at the Pudsey Civic Hall, and the answer is YES, it is. This comes about because apparently there was a Doll and Teddy Fair booked at the same venue for Saturday 20th April, but which also been published with the date of the 21st April which has now been cancelled and confusion is rampant out there. Feel free to double check with me or your favourite attending trader. Especially if you are travelling some distance.

16/04/2024

I am delighted to advise that The Aire Valley Dolls House Club, will not only be displaying their projects, but also selling items for their nominated charity at the Leeds Show on Sunday 21 April. I also am delighted to welcome back Christine Thompson of Silhouette Creations, returning after a tough year health wise. I am looking forward to seeing alot of her new things.

04/04/2024

I have some fabulous news... The Cheltenham Dolls House Club will be running FREE workshops at our Gloucester Fair on Sunday 12 May 2024. However they are collecting monies for The Parkinson's Charity, so are asking for a small donation. More details will follow but they will be taking up to 6 people at a time, and their workshops will run, on the hour from 11.00am. You will be making a lovely pot of flowers - all your own work!

29/03/2024

Happy Easter Everyone, I hope you all have a great long weekend.

25/03/2024

A long story short ... a friend of mine has died and has left me her furnished dolls house and bits, so my hat goes off to all those traders who buy estates and then have to pack them up, transport them, re-sort the collection and then put them up for sale. It's quite a daunting task.

17/03/2024

I have been reading the great comments and checking out the photos on the Miniatura Show that is happening this weekend. I understand that some traders are having a manic time and that was just yesterday. It is fabulous that the show continues to draw the best. I hope you are all having a wonderful time.

It's only been just over a week since our last show at Lyndhurst, but it seems longer as so much has been happening. I would like to say a big THANK YOU for the traders attending the show making it so successful and all the customers that turned up to see all their wonderful mini's. I am full for the October Lyndhurst Show and have a wait list, but we will be showcasing three new traders, so watch for the newsletters and our pages for more news closer to the fair date.

As the Lyndhurst Dolls House Fair date draws near, we have some exciting updates to share with you.

**1. Access to the Café Area: We shall open our doors a little early for customers to come into the warm and the small room we use as the Café. Alison will be on hand to supply warm drinks and her delicious range of sandwiches and cakes.

**2. Grab a Loyalty Card: Do you come often? Already got a card ...... do bring it along. We will be back in October so grab a card and when you visit any MGM Fair, get your card stamped. After 5 visits you either get into the next show free of charge, or you can have a cup of coffee on us, there and then. It is a little thank you from us, for your support at the shows.

**3. Talented Exhibitors: This year's fair boasts our usual impressive lineup of renowned dollhouse artisans and vendors, some of whom only do this fair. From intricate handcrafted furniture to delicate accessories, our exhibitors are bringing their A-game to make your dollhouse dreams come true. Get ready to explore a world of miniature marvels!

**4. Five New Exhibitors: Apart from our regular stand holders, we also have five new traders bringing a variety of hand made and pre-loved items, to the show: Sarah Churchill Miniatures, Tiny Beautiful Things, Alison's Cakes, ELF Miniatures and Dolls House Finishings, come and see their lovely items. For anyone attending our previous Lyndhurst shows, you know that both rooms can get really cosy once filled to the brim with traders and lovely miniature items. I have re-organised the layout in the Linden Hall to create the better gangway space needed, but we do appreciate your patience when its busy and you are trying to get to stands to see all the lovely bits and pieces.

24/02/2024

I have noticed that several followers are having difficulty finding the Traders Attending pages. I didn't mean to hide it under the 2024 Fair Listings, so I have now placed a direct link on the front of the website, to the right page, for the next show,

If you wish to check who is coming to a specific fair, you still have to go the 2024 Fairs button on the top navigation bar, or the Dolls House Dates and Venues 2024 Button, just above the next fair information and scroll down to the right fair then click the link that says "Traders Attending" just under the Map to Venue link.

22/02/2024

I have recently heard that Leeds Council have actually listened to the response of the survey they undertook, and will now put on hold any thoughts of selling the Pudsey Civic Hall. We have a reprieve of between 3 and 5 years! This now takes the uncertainty away from our November Dolls House Show, which is very good news indeed.

In the meantime, I am liaising with Miniature Fairs to seek out new fair locations or resurrect fairs no longer held, so any suggestions, do thrown them into our ring and we will take a look at their current viability.

20/02/2024

I know the British are obsessed with the weather, and although it did rain all night on Saturday and most of Sunday morning at the Rugby show, it did brighten up a bit and we ended up on a dry note. I have to say the Midlands are sure coming in for some horrible weather, so again it was lovely so many customers turned out for our fair. PLUS several customers told me they are going along to Miniatura in a few weeks time.

I had a bumper crop of brand new customers attending the show for the first time, several dazzled by the choice and craftesmanship of all things miniature. Hopefully they also will turn into avid collectors. 😀

13/02/2024

I am pretty thrilled this morning - I took a screen shot of my page at 999 Followers, but I can now celebrate my first 1K members/contacts. I am looking forward to keeping you all engaged with the content.

I am hoping that many of my Facebook and Instagram followers also subscribe to my free newsletter, which gives them more information on the shows. In case you have missed out, here is the body of the newsletter giving you important info on the up and coming show this weekend in Rugby.

**1. Access to the Café Area: It’s cold this time of year, so we shall open our doors a little early for customers to come into the warm of the foyer and the lounge area we shall use as a Café. Rebecca will be on hand to supply warm drinks and maybe the odd bacon butty and slice of cake.

**2. Grab a Loyalty Card: Do you come often? Already got a card .... do bring it along. We will only be doing this show once this year, but grab a card and visit any MGM Fair and get your card stamped. After 5 visits you either get into the next show free of charge, or you can have a cup of coffee on us, there and then. It is a little thank you from us, for your support at the shows.

**3. Talented Exhibitors: This year's fair boasts our usual impressive lineup of renowned dollhouse artisans and vendors. From intricate handcrafted furniture to delicate accessories, our exhibitors are bringing their A-game to make your dollhouse dreams come true. Get ready to explore a world of miniature marvels!

**4. New Exhibitors: Apart from our regular stand holders, we also have four new traders bringing a variety of hand made items, to the show: William's Miniatures, Entranced Glassworks, Wyrd World Miniatures and Z. J. Miniatures, come and see their lovely items. To see what they sell, check out our traders attending webpage on our website.

For anyone attending our previous shows, you know that the hall can get really cosy once filled to the brim with traders and lovely miniature items. I have (again) re-organised the layout, hopefully to better create the gangway space needed. We are so full we wont be able to host either the Rugby Miniature Dolls House Club nor the Small Fiddlers, but if you require more information about joining the clubs, do come and see Fair Reception. Dogs and strollers will not be allowed in the fair room, but wheelchairs welcomed.
