The current fair locations include Stafford, Leeds, Exeter, Lyndhurst, Solihull, Shoreham By Sea, , Holt, Market Harborough, Gloucester, Broxburn, Alderley Edge and Tattershall, Lincs. They are all 100% dolls house and miniature items in mainly 1:12th and 1:24th scale items. Fairs will also have some demonstration tables, manned by miniature makers, for the customers to enjoy.

As I am "between" shows at the moment, I am doing some housekeeping and also trying to catch up with the latest tech information - coming to grips with the new Answer or Generative Engine Optimization (AEO or GEO) for websites. Its another level or two above regular SEO, and is currently complex and expensive to implement, so back to the research and the drawing board.

Having just finished the Leyland Show last Sunday, I now have a few weeks off, before the next one in October, which will be our very popular Lyndhurst Fair, in Hants. New Traders also attending that one, and I am already getting traders book for 2026 so interesting times ahead. My 2026 Shows are now listed on my website, but I have yet to sort out a bit of coding and make sure I have links that work etc, so that will keep me busy for a little while.

We have moved the entrance to the leyland fair, to the car park, so I am on re-directing duties at the moment. It’s a good job, but I could do with a chair !

Unfortunately I have been laid low by a nasty virus and cough, but I hope to be back in my office in a couple of days.

I am off within the hour to Leyland, Lancashire, for the show tomorrow at the Civic Centre and keeping my fingers crossed that the weather behaves itself, but I have packed my raincoat, just in case!

We have a late trader attending our Leyland Fair this weekend - My Little Fancies will be travelling north to be with us, so I am just about to add her to the web listing on our website!

We had yet another very busy fair in Exeter yesterday - I was even too busy to take pictures or videos of the lovely items brought by the traders. I got such a lot of customers saying how nice the show was, but it was all down to the talented traders attending, as we all know its what the customer wants on the day. We are back at Westpoint on Sunday 1 February 2026, hopefully to repeat this super experience.

A busy day today, finalising the Exeter Show tomorrow, getting the car packed and also getting the trader information out for the Leyland show next week and the Bristol show, the week after. Fortunately the weather seems a little cooler here in the south west day, but I still some rain, at some point.

No rest for the wicked as we do several shows running all together at the moment, but I am delighted to report that we have another very full fair at the Exeter Show, on Sunday 20 July. We have two more new traders attending: Thimblemins and Bridget Dailly, other newbies include Karen Wosley, Ladybug Miniatures, Birdhouse Miniature, and Karen's Miniatures. I am delighted to report that we had a super first time fair in Sheffield on Sunday. A few hiccups with the hotel, but hopefully they didn't spill over into the fair itself. As mentioned before, the hotel itself is closing at the end of July so can't honour our 2026 booking, so I took the opportunity to see several alternative venues in the area, so I have lots to do now behind the scenes to sort a new venue (and date) for next year. It will be a case of "watch-this-space" .

Having taken over shows from both Wendy Hobday and Doreen Vincent, our current fair locations include Exeter, Stafford, Leeds, Weston Super Mare, Tattershall, Holt, Porthcawl, Lyndhurst, Solihull and Gloucester.
