Well it’s all systems go, for our Rugby Show tomorrow at the Dunchurch Village Hall, Dunchurch, Rugby. We have some fabulous traders attending with loads of interesting miniatures to look at and buy. Fair opens at 10.30am and light refreshments will be available again from Rebecca. We look forward to saying hi.

Big News Breaking today - the next EXETER Dolls House Fair has moved to Sunday 20 July 2025. I have just emailed all the traders already booked, to alert them of the date change, and I have changed my website, booking forms etc plus sent my revised advert to Andy Hopwood at Miniatura for their Spring Brochure. The date change will also be corrected in the next issue of the Dolls House Magazine. Thankfully I have enough time to get the new date out to everyone. Sorry for any inconvenience on the change, but if in doubt, double check back with me.

We had another super show at Exeter yesterday, with a queue back to the door, and confusion over which line to be in for either admission or coffee ..... lessons learnt on that, and we have already got a plan in place to help the organised chaos next June. Our three new traders seemed to do well and a couple have already booked for the next show. In fact the next show is 99.9% full already so again, another lively show coming up in the summer.

It is certainly helpful being obsessed with the British weather, as tomorrow may be cold and cloudy, but nothing as extreme as recent cyclones, high winds, floods or snow being predicted for the Exeter Dolls House Show on tomorrow in the Conference Centre at Westpoint, Clyst St. Mary, Exeter, EX5 1DJ. We shall be opening the doors a little early to allow the early birds in out of the weather and we have another very full fair. Several people have recently pointed out to me that our first Leeds Show in Pudsey falls on Mother's Day. They are quite right in thinking that this is a double edged situation, so I would now urge all Mother's to advise their families that if they could bring them to the show, it would be huge, massive, wonderful gift for Mother's Day .... so get in quick now with the suggestions!

We had better weather at Stafford than expected, with all snow, ice and frost disappearing very early on Sunday morning. It ended up cold but bright and we therefore send a Big Thank You to all the customers attending the show and braving what could have been uncertain weather conditions. Our best wishes still go out to people in the north - some are still snow bound !

We have been keeping a sharp eye on the weather, and the good news is that Sunday's forecast is looking fairly "good", by comparison. Cold, but bright. However, that doesn't mean it will be easy for everyone, as those further north are certainly having a tough time of it.

Well, I have to say that I am thankful we are all not trying to get to or attend a show this weekend, what with the snow, the rain, the freezing rain and other complications due to the weather. The long range forecast for next week is certainly better, but as its always so windy up in Stafford, we shall be opening the doors to the foyer and the Bowden Room to allow customers a warm up and to get in out of whatever weather we end up with from 10.00am or a little earlier.

Buying on websites can be a minefield, so this morning, I have made things a little easier, and more straightforward. I have added the individual shows to the Admission Ticket Section. I have only done the Adults Tickets, as I assume that any child coming will automatically accompany the adult.

The tickets remain valid for a whole year, and if you can't make it to the show you originally wanted, you can use it to come to any of our others.

Don't forget to pick up a Loyalty Card when you come, so you can get in free on the 6th visit!

I have finally finished adding the Trader Lists to my 2025 Fair pages, on our website. So, all traders currently booked are now listed, although I am expecting more to book over the next few weeks, as they have the time to look at everything on offer. I also took the opportunity to update my website and links, but if anyone has a problem, do let me know.

Now that our last 2024 show has been held, we now are able to concentrate on all our shows in 2025, including our new one in Sheffield in July. I have just updated our website and will be looking at more advertising, more promotion and more engagement for shows next year. Exciting times ahead.

With such dire weather predicted today, they have bright sunshine at the West Midlands Show in Shirley. The rain is also holding off, although I can’t say that for some parts of the country.

Exciting News - Lost Tower Miniatures are joining us on Sunday at the West Midlands Show. Obviously they have no fears for whatever the weather may do, but it is always a delight to see Az's beautiful wood turned items.

I have heard this morning that a couple of traders will not be attending our West Midlands Show at the weekend. One has no confidence in the weather behaving itself, and honestly who can blame her. We have some snow in Devon, which looks like we shall have it for a day or so, but "up country" in the Midlands, it looks like it might be a bit warmer, although a bit windy and possibly wet. We shall find out in a couple of days time. So Tennants Tiny Treasures and PPJ will not be able to make to us this time.

I have just sent out my Newsletter for the West Midlands show for next weekend on Sunday 24 November, but a senior moment caught me, and the first one sent, had the wrong date in the title line - so I sent it again - correctly this time. I apologise for the bombardment of emails and it may of course create some confusion ... maybe I need to go have a lie down!
