Buying on websites can be a minefield, so this morning, I have made things a little easier, and more straightforward. I have added the individual shows to the Admission Ticket Section. I have only done the Adults Tickets, as I assume that any child coming will automatically accompany the adult.

The tickets remain valid for a whole year, and if you can't make it to the show you originally wanted, you can use it to come to any of our others.

Don't forget to pick up a Loyalty Card when you come, so you can get in free on the 6th visit!

I have finally finished adding the Trader Lists to my 2025 Fair pages, on our website. So, all traders currently booked are now listed, although I am expecting more to book over the next few weeks, as they have the time to look at everything on offer. I also took the opportunity to update my website and links, but if anyone has a problem, do let me know.

Now that our last 2024 show has been held, we now are able to concentrate on all our shows in 2025, including our new one in Sheffield in July. I have just updated our website and will be looking at more advertising, more promotion and more engagement for shows next year. Exciting times ahead.

With such dire weather predicted today, they have bright sunshine at the West Midlands Show in Shirley. The rain is also holding off, although I can’t say that for some parts of the country.

Exciting News - Lost Tower Miniatures are joining us on Sunday at the West Midlands Show. Obviously they have no fears for whatever the weather may do, but it is always a delight to see Az's beautiful wood turned items.

I have heard this morning that a couple of traders will not be attending our West Midlands Show at the weekend. One has no confidence in the weather behaving itself, and honestly who can blame her. We have some snow in Devon, which looks like we shall have it for a day or so, but "up country" in the Midlands, it looks like it might be a bit warmer, although a bit windy and possibly wet. We shall find out in a couple of days time. So Tennants Tiny Treasures and PPJ will not be able to make to us this time.

I have just sent out my Newsletter for the West Midlands show for next weekend on Sunday 24 November, but a senior moment caught me, and the first one sent, had the wrong date in the title line - so I sent it again - correctly this time. I apologise for the bombardment of emails and it may of course create some confusion ... maybe I need to go have a lie down!

I am delighted to advise that Z. J. Miniatures and Wryd World Miniatures will be joining us at the West Midlands Dolls House Fair on Sunday 24 November 2024 at the LYCA Community Centre, Stretton Road, Shirley. Both traders have some very special items and both are very talented - so make a bee line for their stands to see their latest stuff.

Thanks to all who send their good wishes to Beryl, I will be passing those on. I hear she is comfortable at the moment, and the hospital are obviously waiting on tests - as they always do. But things are looking fairly optimistic, and I shall bring you more once I hear anything further.

On our drive home yesterday we heard from Chris Harman of ABC Miniatures and he advised that his wife Beryl had suffered a heart attack and was now in hospital, and would be for a little while. Chris and Beryl were supposed to be at the York Miniature Show this coming weekend, but obviously they have had to withdraw from that show. They are sorry to disappoint their customers who are expecting them to attend, but we shall keep you posted on Beryl's condition and we hope to see her back up on her feet soon.

It is very 11th Hour, but we have another new trader at our show in Leeds on Sunday 3 November 2024. Susan's Collection will have a selection of 12th and 24th scale miniatures, some by Borcraft Miniatures and many by other makers. Many of the items have been produced by makers who have sadly since passed, so they are likely to be quite rare. So it will be well worth making sure you check out her stand.

Well, the sunshine was short lived as it certainly chucked it down with rain yesterday in Lyndhurst, but a huge THANK YOU for all those wonderful miniaturists that braved the weather and came out to the show. It just goes to show that you can't keep a good miniaturist down! It was also lovely that we had people who had never been before and who seemed to be delighted with the choice and quality of the items on sale. I look forward to doing it all again in March 2025. 😃

We are packing the car ready to head off to the Lyndhurst Show in the New Forest which is tomorrow at the Lyndhurst Community Centre. We are thrilled the weather has eased up and we have bright sunshine on a crisp autumn day - perfect after all that rain!

It is still a little early but Traders are booking for next year already! I am delighted to have heard from Mark the Dolls House Builder - he is mega busy at the moment, but will be coming to our Stafford Show on the 12th January 2025.

I am now finalising our Lyndhurst Show on Sunday 20 October 2024. We have again got a very full fair, and more exciting news, we have FOUR new traders, plus people like ELF Miniatures and Sue's Magical Miniatures that have only been once before. Two rooms filled to bursting with miniature goodies and bits, so hopefully there will be plenty to see and buy, in all scales. Check out our website to see who is coming and what they sell, just to get a feel before you come. Don't forget to bring your Loyalty Cards as well, collecting the five stamps will get you in for FREE!

Dramatic News this afternoon - The Exeter Hall in Oxford is FLOODED and they have cancelled all bookings for the next three months! However the Oxford Show being run by Miniature Fairs has been moved to Didcot Civic Hall, Britwell Road, Didcot, OX11 7HN. Fair opens at 10.30am and closes at 3.00pm. Notices and newsletters are being done this afternoon and all next week, to make sure as many people know about this as possible.
