The train and backless back, something we can adjust if we design a wedding dress. Some prefer a shorter train so they don't have to worry about their first dance, or trailing it in the grass, or some prefer a longer train for a full impact. It is up to you. If you don't want to show your back then I can also change the design. Some brides like buttons up the back, others like it plain. At the consultation I go through with you many design options. ⁠

Low back and a detailed V design on the back, designed by the bride. She wanted a sharp V to match her shoes! A great idea and luckily I can create something one off. This photo you cant really see it but I will add it onto my stories so you can.

It starts with a rough sketch, then we go through the details and trial a few different styles on. We then discuss what works and what doesn't. A finalised sketch is drawn, then a toile is made. The toile is the dress in the lining, where you can see how it will look, adjustments can be done on the way with a ⁠
It is also kinder to the planet as I am not mass producing, and we can alter the dress after your wedding so you can wear it again!⁠

The slit, perfect to show that bit of leg when yo want to!!
Karla came to me saying that she couldn't find her perfect dress. She tried styles on in boutiques but there wasn't a dress that she truly felt was right. That's where I came in to help, we created a dress with a slit, she wanted bishop sleeves with button fastenings on an angle, and she wanted a V-shape tie at the back against the low back V to match her shoes. An edgy, modern look was what we created. What is your look you want to create?

Me in the studio, holding a dress with detachable arms. The idea is to try on different dresses and see many different ways on how they can be I only have a small collection but there are lots of ideas for each dress, changing the fabrics, altering the sleeves, overlaying with different skirt shapes. It's a fun process and brides can tell me what works for them and what doesn't. This is a sustainable way to work, by not mass producing and seeing one dress in many different forms.

As the overlay is made from silk organic organza, you can feel the difference against your skin. Silk is by far superior, breathable and it doesn't have that horrible static touch. If you are looking for a structured dress, this fabric does the trick and is great to go over anything. ⁠

The same fabric was used here for Jades dress but a slightly whiter hue. There are a range of colours to choose from, white, ivory and light ivory, or even a colour if you don't want the traditional dress It does depends on your skin colour which one is more suitable, you don't want anything too harsh against your skin. At my consultations I will pre-order a sample of fabric, so we can see which one is preferable. The joy of a we get to play with fabrics before we decide on the final one
