Lucy Can't Dance creates bespoke, quirky wedding dresses for non-traditional brides. Every dress is lovingly handmade in our tropical themed studio.

Lucy Can’t Dance started life as a singular, sparkly dream back in 2013, when I took my love of vintage style to the next level, by creating my own vintage-inspired collection. But while I’d always loved concocting my own visions and bringing them to life through fashion, I never would have imagined making bridal wear. That all changed in 2015, when a friend gave me the honour, and the challenge,

of making a bespoke dress for her wedding day. I loved every moment of weaving my signature style into a bridal dress, and that paved the way to Lucy Can’t Dance alternative bridal wear. The Lucy Can’t Dance bridal collection is created for brides who are searching for an outfit that embraces their style and personality, without it feeling like a “bridal” costume. Breaking away from the traditional mould of bridal wear, these are dresses designed to eat, drink and dance the whole night away in. Every piece in the collection draws from a kaleidoscope of inspiration from vintage and bohemian styles, with bold lace details, striking splashes of colour, and beautifully intricate details. While every piece exudes elegance, they also have a wonderfully quirky twist. With the option to choose colours and details, you can choose a bridal outfit that reflects your unique sense of style and personality. Our 2019 collection, “Cosmic Rodeo” was an exciting adventure in being bold and expressive, with spectacular sequins, new colour techniques, and a hint of Western influence for a vintage twist of romance. To make sure that you can enjoy the perfect fit and style for you, you can also choose to have them made to measure.
