Good morning everyone, we are now in full swing for this years event, We have seen several post regarding our riding clubs needing to cancel points show due to the horrendously wet conditions we are experiencing at the moment and our clubs not being able to afford a tractor service to tow on and off the show grounds. We understand this and don’t want to put our clubs under any financial problems, most county shows have struggled this year with towing services and extremely wet conditions. So we have made a decision to drop our point shows requirements from 4 to 3 for 2024. It just hasn’t stopped raining and we fully understand most of our clubs run on grass showgrounds.
If your club manages to run more than 3 shows that is fine, competitors still have to be points champion STARS

All RC club secretaries have been sent an email today regarding our Best Turned out class rules. These rules must be adhered too if you wish to send a representative for this class. Going forward from today we ask all clubs to make sure marks sheets are used for the BTO class…

It’s with great sadness that I write this post. On Friday evening we lost a very valued STARS Team member, “Mike Hannigan” Mike as been part of our STARS team for 3 year s and we have been shocked and saddened by this tragic news. Mike died very suddenly on Friday evening and I would like to send out my heartfelt sympathy to Jean Cartwright.
Mike and Jean were a force to be reckoned with and could run any WHP ring in the country with their efficiency and passion for
the sport.
Thankyou to Mike for the years of service, always with a smile. You made our team a better one and you will be so so sadly missed!! This year we will have a special award in memory of Mike Hannigan..
RIP Mike you definitely earned it. star in the sky tonight

Good Morning Starlets, We have been very busy working behind the scenes and today I’m so happy to announce brand new for 2024 teams hoodies. Every year we have our elite merchandise for those lucky enough to qualify STARS but we have realised that so many people miss out on a STARS hoodie. So we have decided to do team hoodies, these hoodies will be a brand new design in the colour of your clubs choice, with your club logo on one side and STARS logo on the back.. The writing down the arm will be Reach for the STARS, we have over 90 different colours for our riding clubs to choose from. These hoodies will be available for any member of an affiliated RC to purchase. Once we have put these together with all club secretaries they will be available to buy from the 1st of April, the start of the new season, available only from our STARS website!!! We love the fact some teams come to STARS all matching, and we have sourced very reasonable priced hoodies for our teams the stitch count isn’t the quality of our merchandise but these are going to be more affordable and will allow everyone to purchase a STARS TEAM hoodie.
Sadly last year we saw too many people trying to imitate our logo which is patented. This year if we see anyone doing this the club in question will lose affiliation.
But most importantly any child or member of a riding club who now wants to buy an official Stars team hoodie will be able to at a very reasonable price!!

Today Iv realised nothing is easy with STARS.. Iv spent all day trying to match bank payments with no references to PM to find addresses 😬.
One person even sent payment and then sent me her address to my personal facebook PM 🤣 you know who you are !!! .. the 3 remaining rugs I’m going to burn!!! Reach for the stars.. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

THIS IS OUR FINAL 60, ONCE AGAIN ITS BEEN VERY DIFFICULT!!
We have a traffic light system 47 of our clubs entered over 30 classes giving them automatic affiliation. some of our long-standing clubs were just short so we gave them another chance but sadly we have lost some clubs. On the plus side we have gained 6 BRAND NEW CLUBS A CHANCE TO COMPETE AT STARS ... ANYONE WHO AS LOST AFFILIATION THIS YEAR PLEASE DONT BE DISHEARTNED AND TRY AGAIN NEXT YEAR WE DO TRY TO GIVE EVERYONE A CHANCE.

PLEASE NOTE;
Due to a glitch on our system 3 of our RC's that should have been given affiliation were not. We also had one club that had more than 30 entries last year and due to a mistake on their side we didnt get their application.. All mistakes have been rectified so this year we will have 64 clubs......

Sorry guys Iv had a horse in the vets all afternoon and it’s Sebastian birthday tomorrow so Iv been doing balloons and wrapping presents. I nipped to Tesco in the horsebox to buy party food whilst horse was treated .. I will try to get up early before Sebastian gets up to type the list xx

Today is the last day to affiliate! we have had a bumper year this year but I just don’t want any new clubs miss the date. All our previous clubs are on the list and around 10 new clubs but if anyone was hoping for their club to affiliate to stars today is the last day!! STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Please can we ask you only register ONCE it gets very difficult when clubs register several times.
Register your interest will be open till 20th February 2024 we will then choose this years STARS affiliated club.
Once we have closed on the 20th we won’t accept any more clubs till 2025 so please tag your secretaries as we have a massive influx throughout the season for new clubs wanting to affiliate but it’s too late after 20th..

Please read all this years rules very carefully we won’t be changing them again this year, we do try to adjust our rules each year to make sure our competition is fair to our RC members....

Good afternoon Starlets, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. We are running slightly behind this year as my mum has been on holiday the whole of January and I have 10 horses, 2 children, and trying to run my other business but we are full steam ahead from this moment on... We are looking to open affiliation in the next week but sadly Carly as also been very poorly and we haven't yet got our exact date as soon as we do affiliation will open.
We still have a couple of odd ends to tie up from 2023 we still have a few rugs left over I will add sizes tomorrow and we still have around 30 year books available they are £25 each.
