Well…. with the help of some wise words of encouragement I decided to put both feet into the job I adore and several things are happening in the next few months that I cannot wait to share!

However the first one is this 👆🏻 the awards ….. like THE awards.

This is regional and national and my lord even if I got regional I would be crying my eyes out.

Thank you to all my previous brides (date ranges apply) that have voted. Not only does it mean the world that you have taken the time, but I cannot wait to read them all once the judging has finished.

EMILY ….. ✨

The beautiful bride opted for an intimate wedding on Saturday, preparations at the beautiful to then marry her love in Harrogate followed by a beautiful meal with her close family and friends.

As you can see, Emily is already beautiful and the makeup only goes to highlight that. With her beautiful gown and stunning accessories she was every inch the bride.

It’s been over 15 years of experience leading me to this point in my career when I can truly say I “go above and beyond” .

1) I exclusively work with only you and your wedding on your date. I do not apply makeup and then leave for my next booking. I NEVER take a booking for two weddings in one day.

Are you a bride concerned about how your chosen look will be interpreted?

Do you have the dread about what products are going to be used and how heavy it will be?

Don’t you worry….

At Bespoke Beauty & Makeup all brides are given a makeup preview 2-3months before the wedding.

This consists of a thorough and concise consultation, where I will take all the details of your wedding, including dress style, colour schemes and party member names.

We will then discuss your skincare, how you want to feel on the day, any concerns and introduce you to products and styles that may suit what you are looking for.

Bride previews are fundamental to making sure you feel relaxed and comfortable on your special day, which is why I don’t accept bookings without a preview in place.

Bride trials are also perfect for your bridal party, if they feel like they would like a trial ahead of the day. The overall experience is a warm and enjoyable one with the option of a glass of fix, nibbles or afternoon tea.

We also advise that you try tie this with a dress fitting so that you can see your look come together!

The menopause is a significant time in life that brings about many changes to the skin due to the decline of oestrogenic hormones. One of the most common changes is dryness and lack of skin oils. This can lead to sensitivity, itching and flaking so it’s vital that adjustments are made to your skincare regime to compensate for these changes.

We recommend a nourishing creamy cleanser such as Ultra Soothing Cleanser which gently cleanses without removing any vital lipids from the skin, and the calming formulation soothes and nurtures any irritation or itching.

Skin can also become lacklustre and dull with an uneven skin tone. Using a vitamin C rich serum like Brightening Serum will boost the skin with vitality and radiance whilst also helping to reinforce skin structures which gradually weaken from the menopausal years.
