Hi! I'm not dead! I promise! New stuff coming SOON but here's a mini update!

✨I have a new workshop! Have been working hard getting it all set up
✨ I'm FINALLY putting finishing touches on my HOTD S1 Rhaenyra dress! I had to put mine aside to work on commissions for all of 2023, and now is the time to finish my own! Sneak peek above~
✨ In a few weeks I'll be starting my S2 finale Rhaenyra embroidery (the one with the 3D dragon heads on the shoulders!) and have tutorials planned!
✨ TONS of long and short form video content coming soon! So if you're not already subscribed to my YouTube, go go go!
✨ Finally, I'm back to streaming on Twitch regularly! Come chat, work on your own projects, and have a fun time while I make my costumes. Schedule posted on my Twitch profile!

It's no secret I'm a costume embroidery nerd, so this is definitely a day of celebration for me! Here's a selection of some of my embroidery work over the last few years (pssst I have an embroidery only account )

What's next on the horizon for me I hear you ask? WELL my next project is going to involve a LOT of Goldwork embroidery, but shock horror, it's not actually Game of Thrones related in the slightest..... (Also definitely check out that hashtag above to see some stunning work!)

One of the questions I see the MOST online is people wondering how to make build books for cosplay contests. So I’ve made a little guide for you of how to get the best from your cosplay contest build books, and a couple of tips you may not have thought of! This advice applies for both beginner level contests AND master level and international competitions!

Throwback to four!!!!! Years!!! Ago now in 2020 when I made my Eivor shield. Realised today I never posted the ✨detail✨ shots of all my lovely hand carved wood texture on the foam. Anyway this may or may not be a hint towards my next big cosplay. 👀 But you may or may not have to wait a while until I share more 🪓🔥
This shield was made from CF100 foam from .props and was hand dremeled to get the wood plank texture. The rest of the details were done with worbla & some resin 3d printed rivets etc, and it was all painted with acrylic!

NEW STUFF!!
I recently finished this big embroidery piece inspired by Aegon's coronation outfit from House of the Dragon, and I love it so much! 🐉

There are no close up images of this embroidery, so I got to take some creative license with the details! This embroidery features lots of different materials - metal mesh wire, stumpwork, Swarovski crystal beads, Czech glass beads (check out those scales - thought it was a nice reference to the "Greens"), goldwork wires and various other metal and glass beads! This was a really really fun piece to work on, I personally think it's by FAR the best quality individual embroidery piece I've ever made, and I'm really proud of it 🥰

✨EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT✨
I'm honoured to let you all know that I will be a guest at Fantasy Forest next month!
I'll be part of the Cosplay Court - I've heard nothing but great things about this event, so I'm endlessly excited to experience it myself! 🏰
At Fantasy Forest 2023, I will have a live hand embroidery demonstration at her costume display table, which is a collaborative piece for anybody to drop in and contribute to, and learn some nifty stitching tricks! I will also be displaying a couple of costumes, as well as selling my embroidery kits!

Things have been a bit quiet around here! I've been chugging away on commissions (lots of fun stuff coming out), finishing organising all the embroidery kits to ship out (thank you for your patience those who ordered) and I completed at Insomnia Gaming Festival with Wonder Woman and came 3rd! Very pleased with that outcome as it's now a 4 year old costume that I never actually had the opportunity to compete with because covid ❤️

4 years ago today Sansa Stark was crowned The Queen in the North. 1 year ago this week I finished my Sansa costume, and won the UK Crown Championship of Cosplay. 👑👑 It's been a funny old time since then, lots of good and bad. Would I do the whole competition process again? Maybe. I have some things planned for the far future, but right now I'm having a big ol' break and focussing on myself💗

✨EXCITING NEWS✨ I'm super excited to announce my first ever DIY Embroidery Kit is launching TOMORROW!!! 🎉🎉 Set your alarms for 3pm GMT - kits will be available at the link in my bio! I've been working hard for the last few months on developing kits so you can learn how to do super sparkly and ✨textured✨ mixed media embroidery, as you can see on many of my cosplays! These kits contain everything you need to recreate the demo piece as well as a full instruction booklet. I've made sure to use the HIGHEST quality materials - we're talking real crystal glass beads! I hope you guys love these kits as much as I am proud of making them 💞 the next designs will launch late summer!

Crunch is real guys. The first costume of 3 to be finished this week is finally done and shipped out to my wonderful client! I've been working for the last few months on a Harwin Strong cosplay from House of the Dragon, and I couldn't be happier with the results!
