So on Saturday night I was lucky enough to pick up an award for best business dad.
The kids loved the trophy and happily lifted it up all day shouting winner.
They looked at the photos and said quote ‘ dad you looked smart ‘
They watched the video a millions times, and excitingly love it. I could not of given them a better memory.
Now before posting this I thought I better watch it 🙂
Did I cringe watching it back, yes a little.
But I enjoyed it loads more the second and third time, yes I ended up watching it a few times .
Have my parents watched it, yes totally ( and loved it )
So I guess the point I’m making is, take a minute to think about how important a video of your day might be.
It’s a great way to remember what you might forget.
It will definitely help you remember how you felt ❤️
It’s a great way to share your special day with your loved ones.
Don’t let not getting any form of video on your wedding day be your biggest regret.

THIS WILL BE YOUR BIGGEST REGRET IF YOU DON'T DO IT!!
My partner James and I were pretty adamant that we didn't want video in the lead up to our wedding. We just thought it wasn't something we'd need, and wasn't something we'd really considered doing. About a week before the wedding, we changed our minds and decided to go for it, and my goodness deciding to have video was one of THE BEST decisions we made!
The day goes by SO SO quickly, especially the ceremony, and you barely remember any of it. I was so overwhelmed during the ceremony that I didn't take in a word. I can't explain how brilliant it is to be able to sit down and watch it again now with a cup of tea and re-live the whole experience with tears in my eyes. The vlog will bring back waves of emotion in a way that still photos just can't do justice.
Honestly, choosing to get a vlog done is a priceless decision and one I urge you so strongly to take. We were so close to missing out on it, and I'd have been so disappointed not to be able to live it all back again if we'd not changed our minds. Thank you Darren so so much for advising us to go with it, a wonderful decision - I'm so grateful.

"We had our wedding in August on the hottest day of the year! We chose to use 'vlog my wedding to get those candid and natural shots of people throughput the day but instead of just having pictures a film of the day too.
It was better than we had even expected with the cameras not being obvious and guests enjoying using them to take footage and messages and capture those silly moments that wouldn't make it into the main wedding video.
The quality of the final product from Darren was more than we could have wished for and it has created a wonderful memory captured forever at the hands of our own friends and family.
